With a swift turn, the Thunder Beast's claw descended, causing the water to explode like depth charges. The nearly sixty-meter, peak level 7 mutated colossal beast was sent flying with just one swipe.

Under the devastating force of the Thunder Beast’s hundredfold strength explosion, the external energy of the mutated beast collapsed, and its body burst open as it emitted screams of agony.

Burning with flames and crackling with electric arcs, a black sword-like tail shot out at supersonic speed, piercing through the head of a beginning stage level 7 colossal beast that had pounced from behind to instantly kill it.

The creatures daring to snatch the ancient essence were formidable; each emitted energy fluctuations and auras far surpassing their own level, equal to the Orca’s.

However, they were facing the king of the mutated beasts.

Just as the Thunder Beast sent those colossal beasts flying, the silent red light that had persisted for so long collapsed.

Instantly, the massive skeleton disintegrated at a speed visible to the naked eye, crumbling into gravel-like dust and leaving only those two palm-sized drops of blood floating in the sea. The blood didn’t merge with the water, instead floating in it like blood-colored pearls and emitting a faint red glow.

With those two drops of blood now free, an indescribable ancient aura burst forth, instantly covering an area of dozens of kilometers.

The entire sea erupted in an instant, and the surrounding level 7 creatures went berserk.

The Thunder Beast opened its mouth wide, swallowing one drop of ancient blood in one gulp, then closed its right claws around the other, ignoring the incoming attacks.

Dozens of meters of thick tentacles slammed into the Thunder Beast’s body and wrapped around it, and their owner flung it with immense force.

With a roar, the Thunder Beast rushed through the violent currents to the Orca, which had been blown away by the golden breath. Roar! Open your mouth.

Without hesitation, the Orca opened its ferocious mouth, and the Thunder Beast just as quickly waved its right claw, tossing half of the ancient blood into its mouth.

The Thunder Beast hadn’t been intending on taking all of the blood for itself; however, as soon as it had grasped the remaining drop in its claw, most of the blood had seeped through the scales into its body in an instant.

Suddenly, in the distance, an overwhelming aura erupted. Under its suffocating power was a sense of dread, as if the entire sea were being overturned.

A level 9 colossal beast!

The Thunder Beast's expression turned serious, roaring. Roar! Let's go, run fast.

Behind the Thunder Beast, the sea exploded, the massive force instantly forming a huge black void.

The Thunder Beast’s Agility ability erupted, and it vanished in an instant.

The remaining level 7 beasts, as well as the titanic colossal beast in the distance, instantly became enraged, their massive bodies madly chasing in the direction in which the Thunder Beast had fled.

Thousands of tons of seawater soared into the sky, and amid the towering waves emerged a massive figure nearly two hundred meters long, exuding a crushing aura.

Although this level 9 colossal beast had appeared last, its speed had been the fastest. After swallowing a level 7 beast along the way, it swiftly arrived behind the Thunder Beast. Its enormous mouth resembled a black hole, devouring everything within reach, as if it wanted to swallow the Thunder Beast in one gulp.

The Thunder Beast lightly thought to itself as it slowly sank toward the seabed. With its explosive speed, the level 9 colossal beast didn’t stand a chance of catching up. The Thunder Beast had only needed to escape a couple of kilometers to conceal its aura and vanish.

The Orca, on the other hand, was far slower, and didn’t possess the same ability. Considering the camaraderie between them, the Thunder Beast had slowed down a bit in the end, releasing the aura of the ancient blood from its body to attract the level 9 colossal beast into chasing it.

It nearly got itself caught in the process. The colossal beast was unexpectedly swift for its size, and its innate abilities were incredibly powerful. It could launch attacks on the Thunder Beast even from almost two kilometers away; now that the Thunder Beast was concealing its aura, the Orca could potentially be in trouble.
