You're My Only Star

After waiting in the lounge area for a while, Song Xing Xing saw a man dressed in a suit and tie walking around the lobby. His movements were as if searching for someone. She sat up from the sofa and narrowed her eyes at him.

The man finally noticed her and walked over. There was a hesitant look on his face before he spoke, "Are you… Miss Song Xing Xing?"

"Yes. That's me." Song Xing Xing nodded.

The man smiled as he took out his name card and passed it over to her. "Hello, I'm Xiao Ye. President Zhang called earlier. He had explained the situation to me and sent me here to assist you." He motioned with his hand and spoke, "Miss Song, please, come with me."

Song Xing Xing thought that the big boss of the hotel is very capable. It only took them a few minutes to arrive by her side after she had given her sister-in-law a call.

"I have already spoken with the staff in the security department earlier," Xiao Ye spoke as he led Song Xing Xing to an office. "The security had identified the identity of that server. Meanwhile, our security personnel was keeping their eyes on that guest."

"So fast?"

Xiao Ye merely smiled upon hearing her words. As they arrived in front of the office, Xiao Ye helped to open the door and let her walked into the room.

When she walked in, there were already a few staff gathered inside. The moment they saw Xiao Ye, the hotel staff greeted him politely. Seeing that their boss was walking in with a guest, everyone inside the room started to look at each other.

None of them knew the reason they were called into the room.

At this time, the manager walked over to Xiao Ye with an anxious look on her face. "Boss, I have already gathered everyone around as you requested. Can you tell me what's going on?"

Xiao Ye did not respond to the manager. He looked at Song Xing Xing and asked, "Miss Song, can you help identify that person?"

Song Xing Xing looked at the staff in front of her. Her gaze stopped in front of the man with a buzz cut. This was the person she had seen with Bai Zhi earlier. "It's him." Song Xing Xing pointed at him.

The man grew anxious when Song Xing Xing had suddenly pointed her finger at him. However, he did not dare to make a sound.

Xiao Ye's gaze darkened as he looked at this man. He stepped closer and looked at the name tag on the man's chest. "Mister Su, you will stay in this room for a while. The rest of you, get out."

The man widened his eyes as he watched his friends leave the room. His gaze then shifted towards Xiao Ye and his body trembled in fear. "W-what's wrong?"

Xiao Ye tapped his finger on his phone screen. He played a video and showed it to the man.

The moment he saw the footage of him and that female guest, the man's face turned pale. He knew the reason why he was called out by his boss.

Xiao Ye slid his phone back into his pocket. "Mister Su, before I call the police and turn you in, you better come clean and confess. Tell me what did the woman made you do?"

After Xiao Ye had received a call from his boss, he went to the security department to look at a few footages. To his surprise, the person who had shown up on the screen was no other than his boss's best friend, President Lu Xun.

Xiao Ye did not dare to delay and had asked the manager to call everyone out.

Facing Xiao Ye's intense gaze, the staff began to crumble. He then confessed that he did not know who that woman was. However, the woman had stopped him and introduced herself as President Lu Xun's assistant.

She asked him to add some medicine into President Lu Xun's drink and said that it was supposed to help him not to get drunk.

Initially, he was a bit reluctant. However, seeing the amount of money, the server agreed to help.

Song Xing Xing ran out of the office once she heard about what had happened. Her instinct was telling her that Bai Zhi was playing dirty. The thought that Bai Zhi had wanted to drug Lu Xun and drag him into one of the rooms upstairs made her angry.

The moment she arrived at the private room again, Song Xing Xing pushed the door open and found that Lu Xun and his business partners were no longer around.

Song Xing Xing ran off again to look for Lu Xun or Bai Zhi. Her heart was pounding and she grew anxious when she could not see them

After searching for a while, she finally found the people she was looking for. Her eyes widened as she watched how Bai Zhi was supporting Lu Xun as they walked towards the elevator.

Seeing this scene, her anger rose.

Song Xing Xing lurched forward and pulled Lu Xun away from Bai Zhi.

The sudden movement made Bai Zhi staggered backward. Her face contorted in pain as her body hit the wall. Bai Zhi raised her head in anger. Seeing the familiar face in front of her, Bai Zhi was stunned for a few seconds.

"Xing Xing? Why are you here?"

Song Xing Xing pursed her lips tightly. "Bai Zhi, what are you trying to do?"

A look of guilt flashed on her face. Bai Zhi shifted her gaze to Lu Xun and quickly recovered. "Song Xing Xing! Mind your own business! A man and a woman coming to a hotel. What do you think we're going to do?" Her tone was a little seductive.

"Do you even know who you are trying to scheme against?"

Of course, Bai Zhi was aware who Lu Xun is. Wasn't that the reason why she had wanted him to be hers in the first place?

However, after a few attempts of trying to get close to him, the man continued to treat her indifferently. Bai Zhi was aware that her plan this time was too dangerous. However, she was determined to succeed and dared to take the risk.

Once they were caught sleeping together, even if she cannot be his girlfriend, at least she could blackmail him into giving what she wants.

But now, someone else was messing with her plan.

Song Xing Xing sneered. It seemed that Bai Zhi's shamelessness has gone to another level!

Before she could scold Bai Zhi, Song Xing Xing sensed the man's restless hand on her waist. Seeing his slightly reddened face, the look in her eyes turned darker. "You drugged him!"

Just as the words came out of her mouth, the sounds of footsteps could be heard coming from behind her.

Turning around, Song Xing Xing was relieved upon finding Xiao Ye and a few security personnel heading towards them.. She met Xiao Ye's gaze and spoke, "We need to get him to the hospital now."
