You're My Only Star

As she put on her lipstick, Song Xing Xing looked at the mirror again to check on her look. Once she was satisfied with her look, Song Xing Xing tossed the lipstick into her bag before she walked out of the room.

"Meow" Mr. Fluffball raised his head when he heard the door moved. He looked at his master who was dressed up prettily and wondered where she was going.

"Mr. Fluffball, I'm going out to meet a friend." Song Xing Xing scratched the cat's head before she stood up straight again. "You stay home and wait for me alright?"

The cat stared at her for a long time and blinked. Then, he ran off to his condo and sat in his favorite spot. He put his head down and was too lazy to look at his master again.

Song Xing Xing looked at her cat and could not figure out what was going on with her cat. With a shrug, she left her apartment and closed the door.

It has been more than a month since she had revealed her identity to Huo Yun Chen.

Huo Yun Chen had always said that he wanted to treat her to a meal. However, due to his busy schedule, it was hard for them to find a suitable timing. After changing plans and rescheduling a few times, they finally find a suitable time to meet and have a meal together.

Song Xing Xing hailed a cab and informed the driver of the address that Huo Yun Chen had sent her earlier.

After half an hour drive, the vehicle finally stopped in front of the Orchid Hotel. Song Xing Xing stepped out and went over to the restaurant where they have promised to meet.

She scanned her surroundings and was relieved that she could not find any sign of paparazzi around. Fortunately, the security and privacy around this hotel were very good. It would not be easy for just anyone to loiter around.

Once she gave her name, the server led her over to the table. Huo Yun Chen stood up and smiled when he finally saw the person he was waiting for.

"You're here."

Song Xing Xing flashed an awkward smile. This was the first time that she was meeting Huo Yun Chen without his assistant or manager accompanying him. Looking at the smile on his face made her feel a little strange.

"Sorry, I'm late. Have you been waiting for a long time?"

Huo Yun Chen shook his head. "I've just arrived a while ago." He helped to pull her chair before he called the server to order. Once the server left with their order, Huo Yun Chen noticed the way Song Xing Xing was looking around the place. He let out a chuckle and spoke, "Little star, are you worried that someone will see us together?"

Song Xing Xing was startled when she heard his question. After a while, her lips curled into a smile. "Of course, you have a lot of fans. If someone snapped a picture of us together, then, I'll be in a lot of trouble."

"Why?"

"I heard that fans can be quite scary," Song Xing Xing said. "Once they see my picture, they will be able to dig out all kinds of information about me. I don't want those embarrassing moments in my life to be exposed to the public."

Huo Yun Chen laughed when he saw how the girl was answering him with a serious look on her face. "You have embarrassing moments you're afraid to be exposed to the public?"

"Of course." Song Xing Xing reached for the glass on the table and took a sip. "Don't everyone have them?"

Huo Yun Chen leaned forward. "Now I'm curious to know what's that about."

Song Xing Xing merely flashed him a smile.

Of course, she was more worried that once her identity was exposed, her parents were going to drag her back to Y City.

"Don't worry. I can assure you that the privacy at this place is very good," Huo Yun Chen said.

As the food arrived, the two of them began to chat about a lot of things. In the end, their conversation headed back to the mobile games they played.

Huo Yun Chen leaned forward and spoke, "Did you hear? Player99 sold his account. I don't know what happened, but they said that the buyer was willing to pay half a million for his account."

Song Xing Xing was eating her cake when she heard this information. Hearing the amount of money that the person was willing to pay for Player99's account, the cake stuck in her throat and she began to cough. After reaching for the glass of water to drink, Song Xing Xing finally felt at ease.

"Are you alright?" Huo Yun Chen looked at her with concern.

Song Xing Xing nodded before she spoke, "Half a million? Which idiot was willing to pay that much for Player99's account?" Her eyes widened in shock. "Who is that buyer? Can I sell my account to him too? I'm willing to sell it for half the price!"

Huo Yun Chen laughed upon seeing Song Xing Xing's reaction. "But this is the funniest part. I heard that the person who bought this account is an idiot."

"What did he do?"

"He was too terrible at controlling the game and the way he played was like a newbie," Huo Yun Chen spoke. I heard that his guild members were really close to kicking him out of their guild after he played terribly during the last guild wars."

Meanwhile, the idiot in this discussion, Lu Xun, was sitting in his vehicle playing games. A few weeks ago, Assistant Bei Yuan was finally able to find a person who was willing to sell him his account.

Lu Xun looked at his level and might and did not hesitate to offer that man a lot of money in exchange for that account.

Unfortunately, Lu Xun was unfamiliar with the account and commands. In the end, he had died a few times in his missions.

These days, Lu Xun heard complaints of his incompetence during playing games and he was working hard to do well.

When he finally met Song Xing Xing's character, Lu Xun wanted to be someone who is very good at this game. To achieve his target, of course, he had to work hard on it.

All of the sudden, Lu Xun started to sneeze. When he looked at his phone again, his character had died and his team members were cursing at him. Lu Xun narrowed his eyes and exited the game without saying a word.

When he looked up, Lu Xun noticed that Assistant Bei Yuan was driving to the hotel's entrance.

"President Lu, we have arrived at The Orchid."

Lu Xun looked at the building before him and stepped out of the vehicle.
