[VRMMO] Chaos Doctor

"Fuck…. You got to be fuking kidding me! He disappeared again! And he destroyed multiple fuking villages before that?!" – asked the exhausted first princess.

"And again, none of you found anything?!

"…. W-we…. We don't have excuses my princess." – said the personal knight of the princess alongside two other knights.

*Sigh*

"Please don't be too harsh on them." – said a middle aged beastman with moustache as well as dog ears.

[Duke Magan]

"That terrorist Doctor has been attacking and disappearing without trace."

"The entire situation is quite bizarre and chaotic, so you shouldn't blame anybody."

"I know!"

"It's just…...Fuck!"

"….."

"Multiple settlement have been destroyed and we did not find anything regarding the terrorist or anything like that." – said the princes.

"Not only that, but we weren't able to even catch him or stop him."

"And we still lack all form of informations regarding that bastard!"

(That bastards already destroyed multiple settlements and caused multiple acts of genocide, killing countless people as well as their homes.) – though the princes.

(And yet, we couldn't find a single lead or anything like that!)

(This both frustrating and humiliating!)

"My princess." – said personal knight.

"Actually…. We found something."

"Wait, what?! You really found something?!"

"Yes… One of the villages…. One of the villages has a small group of survivors who somehow managed to hide and run away from there." – said the knight.

"However, the situation in that village was completely different than we expected."

"The one who did the attack wasn't the Doctor or any of his monsters…. It was people."

"Wait, people?!"

"Yes… According to the info. There were no monsters or anything like that. It was just a group of the hooded figures wearing bird mask without a sticking out front part."

"These people did exactly the same thing as the Doctor are doing, with plundering and destroying while also leaving nobody alive."

"We went to the village in question, but it was destroyed like the rest."

"Are you saying that by any chance that the people mentioned now were working for or with the Doctor?" – asked princess.

"But what if they are bandits? What if they just wanted to use the chaos as an opportunity to rob people?" – asked the duke who was listening onto the conversation.

"Well… According to the informations from the villagers, each and every person was well equipment and were wearing an exactly same coat and mask that hid their identities." – said the knight.

"If they were bandits…. They wouldn't need to do something like that, since they would just kill everybody and leave no eye witness." – said the princess suddenly.

"Not only that, it was unknown where the Doctor would appear, so would even stupid bandits take a risk of attacking a small village that could also be targeted by the Doctor?"

"I don't think so…."

(But then, who were these people that launched the attack?! Were they really bandits hiding their identity?! Or maybe they were really people that were with the Doctor!?)

(But from the reports so far, we only know about the Doctor and those weird water as well as sea monsters appearing with him.)

"I want to look into them and- "

Suddenly, somebody began knocking on the door.

*Sigh*

"For crying out loud…."

"Enter."

Upon granting permission, a middle aged servant had entered the room.

"…. Is it about the Doctor again?" – asked the princess.

"Em… No miss. It's not." – said the butler.

"Then what is it?"

"…."

"Em…. Well…. An interesting person just entered the city and kind of… Requested a meeting with you?"

"…Look…. Okay, fuck it. Who is it?" - said annoyed princess.

"It's apparently an adventurer named Phantasia."

"!"

Upon hearing the name, princess and duke eyes both have widen.

"Wait… Phantasia? As if that currently one of the crafters among the adventures?" – asked the duke.

"Wait, you heard about him as well duke Magan?" – asked princess.

"Yes. He made a quiet commotion with his achievements that it was quite easy to gather informations about him from the adventures." – replied the duke.

"But is it really Phantasia? I heard that there were some people sometimes pretending to be him."

"Well… About it, we confirmed that he is a zombie undead and that's it." – replied the butler.

"However, his request of the meeting was…. Well…."

"Speak up." – said princess.

"He wanted to secretly enter the mansion and have a word with you without anybody finding out about you two meeting."

"He also said that its quiet serios matter that you think you want to hear."

"…."

(Phantasia…... A crafter among the adventures that managed to somehow stood out a lot in recent times…. I even heard from my spies that my brother had even made on him in the Wolf city.)

(I don't know if he works for him…. Or if the guy asking for the meeting is even really Phantasia…. Still, from what I had heard, that guy wants to stay neutral and doesn't like serving anybody or joining anybody guild.)

(So why would he ask for a meeting like this and so bluntly?)

(If he was a fake, wouldn't he exposed himself instantly when I would ask him to prove himself?)

(So is he a real deal or some just stupid idiot who looks down on me, thinking that because they are an undead zombie, they can deceive me?)

"Get him here. I want to see myself if that person is a real or some sort of fake."

"Yes. But that will take time, since apparently, he didn't wanted to be seen, so he just told us where to find him." – said the butler.

"Don't care. Just bring him in while also making sure he isn't discovered as he asked." – asked the princess, before then sending butler away.

"Do you think he is a real one?" – asked the duke.

"I don't know…. The situation seems…Fishy a bit... But its worth checking out at least." – replied the princess.

"And if that bastard is really fake, then he will pay for straight up wasting my time right now."

After sometime had passed, the servants that were ordered to pick up the supposable adventurer. "Phantasia" before then returning back to the mansion in secret.

"Princess." – said the butler.

"We had brough the person in question."

"Good. Bring him in." – replied the princess.

"As you wish."

Few moments later, the zombie player alongside the two knights had entered the room where the princess as well as the duke Magan were in alongside the princess personal knight.

"I greet the princess, Elizabeth Boran." – said Phantasia while bowing his head.

"I'm so sorry about that sudden request, but I- "

"Spare it." – said the princess.

"I don't even know if you are real one or not yet."

"So let's get down to the business, what do you want? And can you prove yourself to be the real Phantasia?"

"Oh…. Em…. Well, do you want me to make you some sort of costume made mana gun or something to prove myself? If so, if you lend me a forge as well as give me a details regarding the type of mana gun you want me to create as well as other details, then I can make it."

"…."

"Okay… Let's say you are real one." – said the princess.

(If he was the fake, then he wouldn't be asking things regarding my order so confidently.)n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

(It sounded like he was really consider making one.)

"So, you are real one, but then again, I have a new question to you."

"Why are you here and why did you requested the meeting."

"I'm sorry princess…. But I cannot talk until you and the other people in this room promise me something." – said Phantasia.

"Go on." – said princess with serios look.

"Are all people here an trust worthy? Can they keep their word and mouth shuts at all cost?"

"Em…. Yes? All the people here have my full trust. So, you don't need to worry about it." – said the princess.

"This isn't enough." – said Phantasia while taking out a piece of paper from his inventory and putting it on the table.

"?"

"What is this?" – said the princess while picking up the piece of paper.

"It's a contract."

[Contract between the party A and party B.]

[Contract is about a total secrecy where the upon writing it, the party B will agree to all of the party A terms.]

[Party A will provide the party B with a specific informations, but the use of the informations that the party B can use and spread will be restricted upon specific arrangement that was made between the two parties.]

[If the party B breaks the arrangement regarding not spreading specific part of the informations to the public, the party B will be forced to compensate the party A, unless the party A allows the modification of the deal and allow the informations to be spread.]

[The party B cannot reveal any details regarding the party A identity to the public as well as unknown people who are not loyal to the party B and could spread the word. In case of the breach, the party B will be forced to compensate the party A.]

"Yes. I need to make sure that I'm absolutely safe." – replied Phantasia.

"Until you agree to the terms of the contract, I won't be providing anything."

"Informations?" – said the princess while reading the contract.

"What kind of informations we are talking here about?" – asked curios yet cautions princess.
