Chapter 168: Chapter 164: One Week Back
Chapter 168: Chapter 164: One Week Back
[3rd POV]
After finishing their talks with the DEO and getting them caught up on things, Talia and Kara had left back home. Talia had some things she needed to do, and Kara wanted to have some of the local cuisine for dinner.
Talia had found out that they had indeed gotten the Daxamite over the time they were gone, and if she was right, he was set to awake in a week or so, giving her some time to do some things before "Seasonn 2" began. As it was in Season 2 that she would have to deal with a LOT of annoying politics, racist humans, and traveling to Earth 1.
It was due to this, that Talia was currently in her lab in her dimension, working on a device that would be needed for the future. As with the interuniversal threats that would continue to prop up, the powerful foes someone like Barry is going to go against, and the other useful pieces of technology, weaponry, and magical resources on other Earth's, Talia decided it would be useful to have something to communicate to them with, even if she was in another universe.
A phone, she was making a phone. Except this phone would be solely for calling and texting, and would work across universes. Although it would not work across multiverses, once she left the Arrowverse, it would be next to useless unless she found out how to make a superior
one.
The device was fairly simple in design, being reminiscent of an Iphone 15, and was made of some VERY powerful materials, both scientific in nature and magical. The device in it's workings was FAR more complicated, as it was...not exactly the easies to create, nor was it a simple device.
It worked by attuning to that universes native "Frequency" similar to the powers of someone like Cisco aka Vibe. It would then use those frequencies to sort of "Catapult" the messages across universes. It was far more complicated than that, of course, but that was the simple aspect of it. She also had added the "Translator" item she had gotten from the system to all of them, so that the users of them can understand all languages they come across, except alien ones, for now at least.
She planned on eventually upgrading them into actual phones that would be connected to her company she would be creating soon, but until then, they'd just be a simple phone for calling and texting. Albeit a nigh-indestructible one, and one that had infinite battery thanks to it absorbing the ambient magical energies in the surroundings to power itself.
She of course, had to upgrade her satellite in order to even receive this frequency, but that was easy enough with the knowledge she now held in her skull. As it was already superior to all satellites on Earth COMBINED but now it was far more so, with her dimensions satellite also getting upgraded into that level.
It took Talia over an hour to create a set of twelve of them, and each of them were now done. And with that, she ended up completing a hidden quest. It would have taken longer than that to upgrade the satellites and make sure they worked properly, but...clones are really a cheat code.

Upon consumption the users haki (All 3) is massively strengthened several times over. Upon consumption, the power of the users devil fruits are strengthened by 2x. Upon consumption, the users connection to the "World" and will allow them to hear the "Voice of All Things"]
Talia didn't even hesitate to consume both of them, which netted her a decent boost to her haki, and a rather...interesting feeling, as if she could "Understand" or "Feel" the world around her a bit more than before. It was...a bit surreal, as while before she could certainly sense it, now she was almost...connected to it? She wasn't sure what it was, but even her connection to her dimension had deepened after consuming the blood.
"That devil fruit is...decent, not really useful to me but...still decent" Talia muttered, a bit disappointed with the fruit, but not enough to complain about it. She already had plenty of abilities that could do the same thing, but better. But, she wasn't going to say no to more power.
With the blood consumed and the fruit absorbed, Talia decided to get back to the real world, as she was done with everything in her dimension, for now at least.
[1 week later]
A week had passed since they had returned back to Earth 38, and a few things had went down since then.
Talia had started the process needed to create her company, which involved a shit load of paperwork, a lot of money, and a lot of annoying political speech. She hadn't completed it just yet, but she expected to have her company up and running within the month, with her already buying up several abandoned warehouses and factories.
Her process of cleansing the world of the negative gases had been going swimmingly, as had the nanites that had been consuming the trash in the world's oceans. It was still slow going of course, considering the sheer amount of it, but it was certainly progressing faster than she initially expected.
She hadn't touched the dungeon just yet, instead focusing on getting used to being back in National City, working on her company, and producing some more weapons to send into the vault, mostly ones that would be useful against some of her future threats, like the Daxamites and even a certain imp.
She had sent around a hundred of her clones out to find aliens around the universe to recruit, as she wanted to increase her civilians in her dungeon as quickly as possible. That too had been slow going, but she had a few leads in regards to potential recruits. She hoped to at least get some Daxamites into her dimension, if possible, and maybe even some White Martians, if she can find ones that aren't completely racist and genocidal.
Kara had gone back to work and selected her new position as a reporter, which Cat had initially expected even when first hiring her. But she had also told Cat of her plans to work with Talia as a scientist. The woman was...confused at first, and was not happy, but after Talia promised her exclusives, and the right to be the first person to report on her inventions, the woman agreed, mostly because Talia showed off one of her more recent inventions she planned on selling, involving holograms.
Of course, Kara would still have to work at CatCo and not miss out, but her hours were a bit different, and her reporting was a bit different in order to properly work around the fact that
she'd be working for Talia.
Besides that, Talia ended up gathering some genetic material from the Daxamite on the down low, as if she couldn't recruit more Daxamites into her dimension, she planned on looking into cloning and biology, potentially making herself a clone army of sorts. She had the technology for it, she just needed to figure out how to work with the genetics of a Daxamite and some other species she was interested in working with.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
But finally, after a week, something had happened, as Talia watched the news, a small smile on her face as she read the headline. Before she hummed.
"The Venture saved by Supergirl and Superman!"
"It seems I'll be meeting Lena Luthor soon"
