Chapter 140: Countdown (16), Bonkers Trophy Monsters



Aleron teleported and arrived before a 200 meters monster kin to a T-rex with draconic wings and a giant mouth filled with glowing lavatic crystal teeth, claws, and the most dangerous part of its body, the tail with crystal spikes on it, that shattered a two-kilometer tall volcanic mountain!

It used some kind of crazily explosive power through its tail that was larger than its body in length!

Aleron immediately bombarded it with ten Water Shurikens as they conjured surrounding the monster before shooting at it while spinning at a crazy speed for piercing and slashing power. The Lava Crystal T-rex roared and swept its tail, destroying two shurikens while the other eight shurikens struck its body and exploded, resulting in thick misty vapor that further tried to melt its defense.

However, Aleron was shocked to see that the monster was mostly unharmed.

'What the fuck?'

[Gachapi: Woah, these Trophy Monsters are tough, it seems you need to go a step above to pierce that crystal-scale defense.]

[Astral: for real for real on god! ]

'A step above in my skills?' Aleron frowned, ignoring the T-rex attacking him as he easily teleported away.

He started brainstorming fast.

'That monster is of fire-attribute, crystal-attribute, and magma-attribute...from what I know, crystal and magma are advanced attributes consisting of different ratios of Earth + Fire.'

'My best bet is Water and Ice, but my Water Shurikens didn't work.'

Aleron's eyes glinted as he started cooking.

'I have combined two elements into a singular energy structure so far, but what if I combine three elements?'

[Gachapi: It's possible, of course. You need to cook harder for that, though.]

Aleron started experimenting with different portions of elemental synergy while dodging and defending against this T-rex.

'Water plus Darkness generally creates a poison, with the type of poison depending on additional non-elemental Arcane syllabus....Fire plus Wind can also create a type of gaseous poison if I add harmful substances as non-elemental arcane syllabus with them.'

'Mhmm....'

Five seconds passed by and Aleron's eyes glinted as he waved his hand, conjuring a giant cauldron above him that whirled with black liquid filled with a dark green hue while bubbling menacingly.

In the next second, a stream of that strange liquid poured out with Aleron's control and drenched the T-rex with it, causing it to react with its lavatic hot body that vapored the liquid...but also reduced its defense!

'It works!'

Aleron then moved to the next step of creating an offensive skill.

'What if the Space element's energy structure, the space matter, seamlessly synergizes with flame and darkness?' Aleron's eyes glinted and immediately started working on it.

Five seconds later, Aleron succeeded as his eyes flickered and five lances conjured above him. All five lances looked black flamy with glowing silver borders around them and blinking silver motes inside, with each blinking silver mote showing a thread that connected them to each other.

Each Lance was created with 2 billion Magilore's worth of energy.

'Go.'

All five lances instantly appeared before the Trophy Monster, two aimed at its head, one at its belly, one at its neck, and one on its back.

However, something strange happened! The lances strangely returned back to their position above him.

'What the fuck?'

[Astral: Astral Flow concept effect, Mastah! Be careful. Time and Space will affect you and your skills in a direct way now.]

'So I couldn't sense it coming,' Aleron frowned.

He didn't waste time thinking about it and conjured five more of those Lances before attacking again.

'I'll name this...Void Flare Lance.'

The moment those five lances struck, they glowed in a volatile manner before bursting forth with an intense explosion of black flame with countless silver sparks that rushed with all of the flame power into the monster through its weakened defense!

32% Flame, 25% Darkness, and 26% space synergized together to become a new kind of energy structure for this skill, that was shaped and augmented by 17% of the non-elemental arcane syllabi!

The T-rex's head was gone and the rest of the body parts were also obliterated with only

some of its chunks remaining.

[Astral: Yey! Mastah did it. Dat was powerful for real, all fax no post!]

'It seems that I have to start creating skills with synergizing three elements into one from now on,' Aleron grinned excitedly as he discovered a whole new world.

Aleron looked at his Monitor Dome that spanned over a 10k-kilometer radius and saw four lifeform auras in it, but they were not the Trophy Monsters.

'Other warlords.'

In the next moment, Aleron sensed another energy aura like the Trophy Monster and saw the

other Warlords also instantly moving in the same direction.

Aleron teleported at the monster and immediately scanned it.

'Damn, it's a giant bird with lightning, glass, and what's that?'

[Gachapi: Radiation.]

Aleron suddenly felt targeted and saw the monster vanishing like a flicker of lightning bolt before shooting at Aleron with its eyes already releasing an intense dark yellow laser filled

with black sparks.

Its speed was so fast that although Aleron reacted, his heavy-duty barrier was still struck and

was destroyed!

'Damn!'

[Gachapi: Its concept of power is Corrosion. Your defense won't last against it since it's paired with its offensive Radiation attribute.]

Suddenly, he felt multiple auras approaching along with volatile sources of energy. He saw those were the skills released by Warlords, with one aimed at him as well.

He instantly teleported away while a spinning golden chakram with blue patterns struck the monster before other skills and sliced it into two, but afterward, the monster was further

sliced into countless pieces before it vanished.

"Damn, bastard got it before us this time."

"Humph, you think I am a pushover."

"Anyhow, you seem to be a new face here, eh? Or is it you Zalgris, changing your appearance

again?"

Aleron soon faced the two men looking in their thirties and one woman in her late twenties.

[Gachapi: They must be having a competition on who kills Trophy Monsters fastest after

detecting them.]

"I am new here, but I am pressed for time, so...see you later," Aleron said with an awkward smile before he vanished and teleported away to the far end of his Monitor Dome.

If he stayed with them, he wouldn't be able to kill the Trophy Monsters! With a whole new 10k kilometer of area in his radar, Aleron soon saw two Trophy Monsters in

his radar, but he saw that they were approaching each other at a break-speed according to the

map and would clash after two seconds.

Aleron teleported and arrived there. 'If they fight each other, that's best!'

One was a gigantic four-winged tiger with an amethyst exoskeleton on its dark green fur while the other was a huge scary centipede.

But in the next second, Aleron was dumbfounded.

The clash he expected didn't happen. Instead, both Trophy Monsters actually crashed into

each other physically before a loud burst of light shone and they....combined into one!

The monster turned in Aleron's direction before releasing tens of purple crescent slashes

from its wings towards him.

Aleron teleported away before looking into his Monitor Dome and saw another aura of Trophy

Monster.

He left and went to target the Tier-1 Trophy Monster.

'I don't want to waste time on this Tier-2 one. It's better I target the Tier-1 since I can still kill

them fairly faster.'

Aleron avoided Warlords and targeted Tier-1 Trophy monsters, eventually amassing a total of

800 Warlord points.

'Alright, this is enough. Let's see how much time dilation I can get with it.'

The Astral Flow trait was affecting him occasionally, but he was done and it was time to start focusing on it to comprehend that concept.
