The Vampire's Love: You Are My Destiny

Chapter 251 - Overflowing

Menedelia deals with single women and men that afternoon having their palms read. They want to know if they will get married and find their soulmate in the years to come.

After the customers are gone, Menedelia talked to Rebecca. "I'll go to the toilet. If there's a customer, tell them to wait for a few minutes," she said.

"Okay, Granny. Take your time," Rebecca said.

Menedelia exited the shop and went in the direction of the public toilet.

A few meters from the toilet is a hostel.

She approached the place and saw the white-haired woman at the entrance sitting on the wooden bench, waiting for her. She went to her side. "Where is he?"

Hera stood up. "Upstairs, to his room. I will escort you to him," she answered.

The two women climbed the stairs and knocked on the 5th room located near the stairway.

The door was opened by Zero.

Menedelia entered the room, and Zero closed the door while Hera remained outside.

"Have a seat..." Zero offered.

Menedelia lowered herself on the chair.

Zero settled on the chair facing her. "Okay, let's get started. What do you mean in your message that Nini needs to be locked up in a cage again? I can't understand that part. Why are you telling me this?" he asked, his brows knitted together in confusion.

"Yeah, because I saw a tragedy about to happen sooner or later after Nini returns to her family. I saw a vision of the future! Nini will slaughter her entire family!" Menedelia said without batting an eyelash.

Zero's face went pale. "What-? How can you be so sure of this?" he asked in disbelief.

"I saw it! You have to believe me, or else if you ignore my warning, she will annihilate the foundation of Helix Vanguard Clan!" Menedelia said with utter sincerity in her voice.

Zero's eyes widened in shock. "How did you know about the Helix Vanguard Clan?"

Menedelia released a deep sigh. "I saw everything in my vision!" she insisted.

Thick silence enveloped them.

Zero was dumbfounded, confused as hell after discovering Nini's future. If Menedelia was telling the truth, the Helix Vanguard Clan is in great danger!

"Are you still doubting my vision?" Menedelia asked.

Zero looked at her face trying to know what more she knows that she's hiding from him.

"And here's one thing, because you are very generous to me. I'll tell you my opinion about Nini's story. I think whoever kidnaps her when she was still a child and imprisoned her inside that room for many years has a big plan in his mind. Why would they kidnap a baby and raised her inside a room in a parallel world and then set her free when she's adult already? And return her to her family just like that? Didn't you find it strange? I think they released her so that she can take revenge for them. I have this wild theory that the Helix Vanguard Clan offended someone powerful! And that someone is orchestrating up an act of dangerous revenge in secret. What could be more effective revenge than stole the baby and send her back to her family to kill her kin?" she elaborated further.

Zero's jaws dropped on the floor. Damn! He was so happy to find the missing baby, but he has entirely forgotten to connect all the dots!

How stupid he can be!

"Now I'm confused about what to do!" Zero revealed his current frame of mind. "I don't know if I should just imprison Nini so that she won't harm anyone or just present her to her family and let them decide for her fate," he said.

"Do the right thing! Bring her to to the capital to meet her parents and tell them about my vision. Let them decide if they will tell Nini about my vision. I pity that girl. She's just beginning to enjoy her freedom. Soon, she will be put in a cage again so that she can't harm anybody when the time comes that she will be possessed and kill her own family!" Menedelia said.

Zero was rubbing his jaw in concentration. "What period Nini will go berserk and start killing her family?" he asked, wanting to be ready for that time.

"No definite time! What I mean is, it could happen anytime! I'm sure 100% that it's going to happen. I don't have the actual time when she will going to be possessed," Menedelia said.

"Ah, okay. Can you see Nini again? Maybe you can see the exact time or event or see any hints that can warn her family when she was about to lose herself and start killing them?" Zero requested.

"Sure! Anytime! Just send your people to my shop next week Monday afternoon. I'll give you the exact time when I can visit Nini to see her future again," Menedelia said. "I've better get going now. Rebecca was probably wondering why I haven't returned to the shop yet," she said and rose to her feet.

She walked towards the door, paused midway, and looked over her shoulder. Zero was still sitting on the chair, in complete silence, looking confused as hell.

She can understand his feelings right now. For someone who's been looking for the missing baby for a long time, he finally got a breakthrough! Unfortunately, his finding is destined to bring great catastrophe to their clan. "Are you okay?" she asked.

Zero looked at her. "I will be. I'm just confused right now," he said.

"To simplify your dilemma, you only have to do the following things. Tell Nini what's going to happen to her in the future. Tell her whole family about the vision that I've seen in her, and lastly, the girl's future isn't bleak at all. Her parents are wealthy, right? Suggest to them to create a private place for her to enjoy and roam around. If she like beautiful gardens, delicious food, spacious rooms, and human companions then give them all to her. Don't imprison her in a hidden cage. They can buy servants from the marketplace to serve her 24/7 and stationed guards to watch over her. But don't let Nini and her parents be together for a long time because the enemy will use the girl's body as a vessel to bring harm to the entire Helix Vanguard clan," Menedelia explained.

Zero took a deep breath. "How can you be so sure that the future killing would happen?" he asked.

"Although I can't read everyone's future, when I'm given a vision, it's always correct! I never doubted my vision," Menedelia said. "By the way, I'm going to relocate my shop to the next town. Just in case you come and see me again, you will no longer find me in that shop. That's all. I'm leaving now." She opened the door and exited.

Outside.

Hera looked at the fortune teller. "Do you want me to accompany you back to your shop?" she offered.

Menedelia shook her head. "Thanks...no need..." she replied and went down the stairs and left the hostel.

When she arrived at the shop, the guy who visited earlier seeking her expertise to identify who stole his cow has finally returned. He wore a megawatt smile on his lips. "What's up?" she asked.

"We found it! My two sons and I dig that earth! And we found them!" the guy whispered.

"I'm happy for you. Shhh... Don't be too loud!" Menedelia spoke. "Come inside the shop," she invited him in.

Rebecca was walking towards the shop. "Granny! Where have you been? I've been looking for you all over the place. You're not in the public toilet either!" she said while carrying the knapsack on her back containing the gold coins.

"Let's get inside. I'll explain later," Menedelia said.

The trio entered the shop.

Menedelia and the guy settled at the table.

Rebecca went back to the room, waiting for the customer to take his leave. She placed the knapsack on the bed and lies down to rest.

Back in the table.

"What can I do for you?" Menedelia asked the guy.

"I'm so excited, happy, and at the same time shocked and fearful about the thing we found under the lemon tree. I've never seen such a huge treasure in my entire life! When we dig the earth deeper, we found ten more gold bars down there," he said, grinning happily.

"Wow! That's amazing! You and your family will become filthy rich soon!" Menedelia gushes.

"And it's all because of you! Thank you so much! I'm planning to give you two gold bars because, without your guidance, we will never know that there's a treasure hiding beneath our backyard!" he said.

"It's up to you!" Menedelia said. "I won't refuse a gift as long it's given freely to me," she said.

"Okay. When are you going to close the shop today?" the guy asked.

"At 6:00 in the evening," Menedelia replied.

"Okay, I will return here with my son to give you the gold bar," the guy said. "I'm going back to our house now," he said.

"Take care on your way and don't tell anyone about the treasure," she said.

"I will! Thanks for your advice. My family and I appreciated it very much!" he said, his eyes shone with gratitude.

Menedelia smiled. "Don't mention it. Go now!"

The guy went to the door and exited.

Menedelia rose to her feet and went to the room, and sat on the bed.

"Granny, where did you go earlier? You were gone for a while, I got worried! I thought you were abducted again!" Rebecca said.

Menedelia smiled. "Nothing like that happened to me. I just meet an old acquaintance near the hostel and we talked for a few minutes, that's why I'm gone for a while," she lied. "You go outside, buy foods and buy babies clothes as much as you like. Don't worry about the money, we have plenty. Our blessing is overflowing today!" she said.

"Awesome!" Rebecca rose to her feet excitedly and left the shop. She's going to check out the stores selling baby clothes and also buy dry food for their one-week ration.

It's already early evening when the guy and his son returned to the shop and handed to Menedelia the two gold bars that were hidden securely inside the bag.

Menedelia and Rebecca finally closed the shop.

They hired a wagon for their transportation. They dropped by in the outskirt of town, and from there, they teleported back to their fortress in the forest.
