He recalled what Madam Nancy had brought back the day before—there was an eighty to ninety percent certainty that Madam Pascal's death was the work of Magru Teller; it couldn't be a coincidence.

He hesitated for a moment and then said to Madam Nancy, "Three days from now, a friend of mine is holding a funeral, but I can't attend due to other commitments. Could you go on my behalf and also send a Fu Er donation?"
