System: Replicating The Heavens

Chapter 386: Ch 386: Meeting His Parents

All the higher-ups of the Golden Sun Sect were present in the Grand Hall, and every one of them was terrified by Alex.

The Sect Leader didn't dare to anger Alex. He immediately left the Grand Hall to personally bring his parents back.

At the same time, he was seething with rage, silently cursing the person who dared to imprison the parents of someone as powerful as Alex in the Shattered Crystal Cavern, treating them as mining slaves.

As long as the danger brought by Alex's presence can be avoided, he was determined to investigate this matter and punish everyone involved in bringing the entire sect into such perilous trouble.

Alex didn't have to wait for long. It only took the Sect Leader about two hours to bring his parents back.

Fortunately, nothing happened to them. Their cultivation was just sealed. It wasn't a big matter. They were also not in a perilous condition; it is just that their state was somewhat ragged.

Alex felt overwhelming emotions upon seeing his parents after so many years. A mix of joy, relief, and deep sorrow for everything they had gone through swelled inside him. His heart ached as he saw the toll of their harsh life reflected on their faces and worn bodies. But the love and strength in their eyes remained the same, igniting a spark of warmth in Alex's chest.

For a moment, he couldn't move or speak, simply letting the sight of his parents sink in.

His parent's emotions were not better than him. They looked for Alex everywhere and did everything they could. Several times, they even suspected someone was manipulating them from the shadows, slowly sending them closer and closer to death and destruction. But they still didn't give up looking for their son.

Alex was their only son.

So what if he couldn't cultivate?

Unfortunately, they failed to find Alex even after giving up everything. In the end, they even became mere mining slaves which is a completely opposite identity from what they held previously as the head and madame of the White Family Commerce Guild.

Now, after all these years, when they felt their hope shattering and life was dull, Alex appeared in front of them once again.

Alex's mother's eyes filled with tears as she kept looking at him for a long time. In the end, she can only whisper, "Alex... is that... is that really you?"

Alex's eyes also moistened. He stepped forward and held his mother's hand while nodding, saying, "It's me, mother!"

His father Calix, though weathered and tired, stood tall as he always had, but the shock of seeing his son left him speechless. Hearing his son's voice, his voice cracked as he said, "You... you've returned. You've finally returned, my son!"

Even a man like Calix teared up seeing his son once again.

Tears welled up in Alex's eyes as he stepped closer to his father. Nodding, his voice shook as he answered, "Yes, I've returned. I'm here to take you home. I'm so sorry, it took me this long to come back."

Alex poured all his emotions into his words. He was about to say more when his mother rushed forward and wrapped her arms around him tightly. She sobbed quietly. "We never doubted you'd come back to us. We knew you were alive, and nothing happened to you. We knew...

we knew even if we couldn't find you, you'd find us."

His father also placed a hand on Alex's shoulder, his grip firm despite the weariness in his body. "You've grown so strong... stronger than I could've ever imagined."

Alex understood what his father meant. His father was once the head of the White Family Commerce Guild. He is also a Heavenly Completion Stage warrior. Obviously, he is not a fool.

The Sect Leader of the Golden Sun Sect personally went to bring them back, and it was obvious how anxious he was. Calix could clearly sense the sect leader's fear.

Now that Alex was present, everything made sense. Alex had clearly grown strong enough to intimidate even a Void King Stage warrior. Otherwise, there was no way they could have left the Shattered Crystal Cavern so easily, let alone been personally escorted by the sect leader of the Golden Sun Sect.

Alex swallowed hard, the lump in his throat making it difficult to speak. After a while, he took a deep breath and separated from his mother, assuring her again and again that he was here and would not leave, at least not for the time being.

After a while, he said, "I'm taking you away from this place. You won't have to suffer anymore."

His parents, though weakened by their time in captivity, smiled softly. Traces of relief could be seen on their faces. His mother gently touched his cheek, saying, "We don't care where we go... as long as you are with us, my dear son."

They stood there for a few moments quietly, sharing their emotions with each other. Years of separation and hardship melted away in that instant, and all that mattered was that they were finally reunited.

Even Aurelius felt emotional upon seeing this scene, not expecting a strong person like Alex to show this side.

.....

"I'm leaving, take care of yourself!" Alex smiled at his parents and said his final goodbye.

"Take care, son," Alex's father Calix White said, his voice trembling slightly with emotion. His mother stepped forward. Tears welled in her eyes as she said worriedly, "Remember to come back to meet us from time to time, son. Stay safe."

Alex smiled warmly as he looked at his parents. His heart was heavy but resolute.

"I will," he promised in a low voice. His mother's hands reached out, gently cupping his face for a brief moment before letting him go.

With one last glance at his parents, Alex nodded at them before turning away. Not far away, Aurelius was standing. When Alex came to him, he nodded and then they both left.

It's been fifteen days since Alex met with his parents. He then brought them back to the White Family Commerce Guild where everyone was shocked to see them again. In fact, their astonishment intensified when they saw Alex and identified him.

No one expected Alex to really come back alive.

Alex had already undone the seal and his parent's cultivation was restored.

In order to celebrate their return, the White Family organized a party that went on for three continuous days.

During these three days, many forces came to congratulate Alex's family for their return after finding Alex. None of them knew just what his parents had endured these years.

Everyone was shocked when the Golden Sun Sect's leader and several other elders personally came to congratulate the White Family.

Actually, they came to confirm whether Alex had forgiven them or not. Only when Alex told them that he was not mad did they heave a sigh of relief and returned?

Alex spent the rest of the days with his parents.

During these days, his uncle wanted his father to retake the position of family head, but his father refused. They now only wanted to spend their life comfortably.

Alex also told them what happened with him back then, and that he had already taken revenge.

His father was emotional but didn't say anything about his once-trusted aide.

Other than what happened back then, Alex made up a story and told them how he ended up being saved by a wandering cultivator who took him to a different world. There, he cultivated to an extremely high level, surpassing the limits of the world.

He also gave his parents a lot of resources and helped them in their cultivation.

Finally, after spending a few days with his parents, he decided to leave. He told his parents that he had to leave.

His parents already knew Alex would leave sooner or later. After all, Alex had already told them that he had surpassed the limit of Clear Sky World. They understood that the Clear Sky World could no longer hold Alex, he had to go to a wider starry sky.

Although they were reluctant, they still let Alex go. His mother asked him to stay for a few more days, but his father stopped her and nodded at his son, telling him to go.

In the end, Alex said goodbye and left.

.....

On top of a huge mountain, Alex and Aurelius can be seen standing.

"This is amazing," Alex muttered as he looked at a wooden arch in front of him. At first glance, it appeared to be an ordinary arch made of branches of two trees joining together. However, after a closer look, anyone can feel an ancient and profound aura from the wooden arch.

According to Aurelius, this is the entrance to a small Dimensional Space where his family is located.

Actually, coming here was not so easy. If not for Aurelius having the "key", Alex would have to break at least dozens of trap formations, tens of illusion formations, and several killing formations before reaching this place.

It can be said that this entire mountain was filled with formations, just to secure this wooden arch.

"Let's go then," Alex smiled.

Aurelius nodded and then both of them took a step forward.
