Chapter 351
351 What! How many brides are there?
A petit red-haired woman appeared from behind the curtains wearing a beautiful wedding dress, gloves with a butterfly pattern on them, and a veil covering her face. To her sides stood Teresa and Leonis. It was easy to guess they were about to escort her down the aisle.
“What? What is happening?”
“Why is there another bride?”
“Is there another surprise wedding? But why is the groom the same?”
Leonis tried his hardest not to squeak a word while Teresa smiled and acted as if Ester was her daughter. The guests remained unanswered and curious.
“Are you nervous, dear? You are courageous to be the first one.” Teresa whispered.
“Madam Teresa reminds me of my mother. Both mothers are kind and gentle. I feel my mother would be happy to watch me escorted by a similar loving mother.” Ester whispered. Her smile could be seen from the sides of her veil. She looked comfortable with Lilith’s mother by her side.
Teresa didn’t think hearing such words in this kind of situation would soothe her heart.
Teresa knew about Ester from Maid Xu, yet it was a week’s time of information. Nonetheless, Teresa noticed how her daughter was talking to Ester as if they were long-time sisters today.
.....
Soon, as the bride and the bride’s parents’ representatives reached halfway, Teresa decided to speak. “This young lady is...”
“Sigil Aprentice Ester!” Darwin suddenly exclaimed.
Darwin looked around him after he interrupted the wedding. Teresa and Leonis looked at Darwin while Ester looked shocked.
Ester didn’t think someone with the ability to see a person’s stats would attend her wedding. She feared it might cause trouble.
Darwin cleared his throat embarrassingly. “My mistake. I meant Sigil Mage. Apologies for my abrupt discourteous behavior. Please resume with the wedding.” He sat down and looked at the floor.
Darwin did not say a word afterward, not to his wife nor his daughter. In his mind were more questions than he had in a month loaded with academic planning.
“Please continue. ” Ester whispered.
Ester worried about things she didn’t need to worry about. Her fear of another unfortunate situation grew bigger in her heart.
However, such thoughts were erased when Ester climbed the podium, and Vincent reassuringly held her hand. “You will be mine now and forever.” He whispered.
Before Teresa and Leonis climbed down the podium, they announced that this was a polyamorous marriage, yet only their daughter was going to be the head wife of the family.
Many frowned with a perplexed expression, and others opened their eyes wide from surprise. On the other hand, those who knew about Ester and Lupa smiled since Vincent was about to take responsibility.
Shortly, Teresa and Leonis sat beside their daughter. Lilith thanked her parents with a warm smile for escorting Ester since her parents passed away years ago.
The music stopped, and the priest ignored the lingering chatter. He proceeded with the marriage, and it was soon at its final phase.
Vincent raised Ester’s thin veil, and her crimson hair, eyebrows, eyes, lipstick, and blushed cheeks came into view. Her expression was radiating with happiness and excitement.
Vincent and Ester said their vows, exchanged the rings, and later kissed, marking the completion of the second wedding.
[Three more to go.] Kazumi teased before the reward window of the Promised Quest appeared.

[What!]
-What!-
Ester opened her eyes after the kiss that tied the knot. She saw Vincent staring at her as if something was strange on her face. “Did I make a mistake?” She worriedly asked.
Vincent shook his. “The quest is complete. You became Ester Lionheart now.” Vincent decided it would be best not to tell Ester about a reward that even after becoming a noble, they are still unworthy to see the unknown rewards.
However, the rewards become easier to tell. One was probably a monetary reward and the other a reputation reward, possibly from her mother’s side of the family in the desert.
“I never thought this day would come. I have a husband now, hehe.” Ester giggled and went to sit beside Lilith while Teresa and Leonis once again left.
*Clap, clap, clap* Everyone congratulated Ester, but as soon as she went to sit down, they stopped and conversed with each other.
“Two wives, eh? This young man has a lot of work to do.” Byron joked.
“But father, Lord Leonis and Lady Teresa left again. ” Vopor said. He looked at the back and saw a pair of golden eyes peeking from behind the curtains. “Father, the next bride is about to appear. I think we know who she is.”
“Next bride... wait, is it that beastman wolf girl?” Byron asked.
“Thank god my father didn’t attend.” *sigh* “I don’t know what would happen if he did...” Biro mumbled quietly.
Regardless of who didn’t know or knew about multiple brides, no matter how guests were surprised and confused, the show must go on.
The wedding song played for the third time. The flower girl Beth threw an assortment of white flowers while the ring bearer Lian held a box with fake rings once again.
A woman with white wolf ears moving energetically as if composing a tune appeared from behind the curtains wearing a beautiful wedding dress, a fake white wolf knitted tail, and a veil covering her face. To her sides stood Teresa and Leonis to escort the third bride.
As the bride approached the podium, closer and closer, Lupa’s natural tail with slowly growing fur wagged excitedly under the dress. It was a suggestion Ester made because she feared the excitedly wagging tail moving from left to right without a hit of stopping might distract everyone.
Lupa soon reached Vincent. Leonis and Teresa smiled at everyone as if there was no need to repeat their statement before taking a seat. Both showed their acceptance in the matter.
The music stopped, and the priest restarted the process all over again with a frown on his face. He proceeded with the marriage while looking as if he disliked the idea of a beastman marring a human, but Vincent and Lupa ignored him.
Vincent raised Lupa’s thin veil. Her golden eyes were bright with excitement, and her lips curved a cheery smile. She moved her gaze at the priest and stared at him as if she was asking to hurry.
Lupa didn’t eat much today. She was begging to hurry and stuff herself with tons of meat. Her nose had already picked the scent of food when she was waiting. Her stomach was doing its best not to growl.
Vincent and Lupa soon said their vows with some difficulty as Lupa kept calling Vincent her mate instead of his actual name. It took some tries to convince the hard-headed wolf girl to say his name once.
Later, they exchanged the rings and kissed, marking the completion of the third wedding.

Same as before, the priest didn’t look done. Lupa went to sit next to Ester while Teresa and Leonis left. She giggled and looked at the ring on her finger as if it was a priceless treasure.
“My mate marked me, hehe.” She whispered to Ester.
“What is happening? Are there more?” Some started to ask.
The wedding song started again for the fourth time. The flower girl Olive threw an assortment of leaves and flowers with green pedals while the ring bearer Lian walked proudly with the fake rings box in his hand.
The two demigoblin children looked more excited than before. The goblin they followed the most was about to marry the man who they decided to be the chosen one and referred to him as a god.
A petit demigoblin woman appeared from behind the curtains wearing a beautiful wedding dress, a frilly scarf on her neck, a small knitted flower attached to the base of her horn, and a veil covering her face. To her sides stood Teresa and Leonis.
“Isn’t that a hobgoblin? Is she a slave or not? But the flower girl and ring bearer aren’t. How did they get in, I wonder?”
“The bride is a gray hobgoblin. They are as rare as a poor citizen owning gold.”
“Are the Lionhearts willing to let a hobgoblin become a lesser noble?”
The guests started to question.
“Yep... it is a blessing my father didn’t come. ” Biro mumbled quietly again.
Darwin looked at Iris’s stats. He stood up and shouted, “Iris is a...” He became embarrassed when the wedding paused, and everyone looked at him as if they wanted to ask, what now? Or, is there something wrong with the goblin?
“Ahem, she is a fine goblin. Please proceed.” Darwin sat down and looked at the floor again. His mind was packed with new thoughts.
Darwin couldn’t hear his wife and daughter asking why he was acting strangely again.
Iris became nervous, but Teresa whispered, “I heard you are new to civilization life. I am your stepmother for today. Don’t worry. You helped me a lot. I will return the favor one day. ”
.....
The gentle words reassured Iris. She walked forward and hoped this memorable yet stressful day would come to pass and her life taking care of plants returned.
Iris soon climbed the podium. Teresa and Leonis looked at the guests and went to sit.
