Chapter 286 Bone Armor Rhino
The blood red formation rotated slowly, and in the next moment, long vines whistled out from within, twisting all nearby Frostwing Bats into a mist of blood. At the end of these vines was a large flower disk, appearing to have a horrifying mouth filled with sharp teeth.
Ghost Vine Flower, a blood type spirit beast, initially ranked as a low tier Imperial grade beast, is known for ambushing prey from crevices in cliffs.
Currently, apart from Silver Lin's high grade Imperial grade Ghost Vine Flower, the others had all reached mid Tier Imperial Grade.Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Several Ghost Vine Flowers hovered quietly in mid air, their massive flower disks surrounded by blood red vines, each over ten meter long, with sharp spikes neatly aligned along them.
"Hiss!"
The Frostwing Bat King, eyeing the Ghost Vine Flowers, flashed a cold gleam in its eyes. Its long tail exuded a chilling black coldness, making the air around it seem to condense into countless hard ice particles.
"Swish!"
After a moment of stillness, the Frostwing Bat King suddenly shook its wings and shot forward rapidly, its ice cold tail whipping toward one of the eighth level Ghost Vine Flowers with lightning speed.
Mid level lord tier spirit technique, Ice Shatter Tail!
"Blood Vine Shield!" Silver Lin shouted urgently.
As the Frostwing Bat King roared forward, the Ghost Vine Flowers quickly converged at the target location. Their long blood red vines rapidly interwove in the air, entwining to form what seemed like a massive vine shield.
In front of the vine shield, due to the dense blood aura, a smooth blood arc appeared.
"Bang!"
The tail, carrying black ice particles, struck the Blood Vine Shield solidly. With a crisp crack, fractures swiftly spread across the shield's surface until the entire shield shattered with a resounding crash.
As fragments of the vine shield scattered through the air, a heavy sense of despair settled in everyone's hearts.
A single strike from a lord level spirit beast was truly terrifying!
"It's over. Even the elders of the Blood Seal Gate are about to fall. I'm afraid Bloodstone Pass will not hold," someone lamented sorrowfully.
Even though the bat swarm entering Bloodstone Pass wouldn't completely annihilate all life, the damage it would cause would be devastating. This is one of the main reasons why many forces, despite coveting this place, are unwilling to station here long term.
After tearing through the Blood Vine Shield, a vicious gleam flashed in the Frostwing Bat King's eyes. It swiftly moved, its icy claws gripping a Ghost Vine Flower and ripping it apart with brutal force.
Amidst piercing screams, the Ghost Vine Flower's body split in two, raining blood down below.
Seeing his spirit beast die, one of the elders of the Blood Seal Gate was filled with grief.
"Master Stun, if you don't act now, there won't be another chance!" Silver Lin turned his head and shouted softly.
Seeing this, Blaze Regret's eyes narrowed slightly. Stun Zen's spirit beast was finally about to make its appearance.
"Bloodstone Pass is in trouble, and I, Stun, will not stand by idly."
Nodding with a smile, Stun Zen flicked his sleeve, and a sixth level spirit beast by his side returned instantly to the spirit portal. A new spirit portal swiftly emerged in front, its surface shrouded in wisps of black energy.
"Dark attribute," Blaze Regret thought to himself, slightly tensing. Spirit beasts of this attribute are extremely mysterious and unpredictable.
"Boom!"
Before the spirit portal could fully form, a white figure burst out like a sudden thunderclap, accompanied by the sound of a sonic boom. Its large white hand grasped the body of the Frostwing Bat King and slammed it to the ground.
Under the immense force, the Frostwing Bat King had no time to struggle and was pinned harshly to the ground by the white figure.
"Attack!"
Seeing the deep crater below and the rising dust, Silver Lin's face lit up with joy. The most troublesome aspect of the Frostwing Bat King was its ghostly speed. If it could be restrained, it was sure to suffer significant damage.
"Whoosh!"
In mid air, sharp sounds pierced the wind as blood red vines, like long spears, shot down rapidly, stirring up more dust and debris from the already blurred ground.
For a moment, as the blood red vines frantically stabbed downward, blinding flashes of blood red light continuously flickered in the sky.
"Boom!"
From within the dust cloud, a white figure quickly retreated, shaking off the dust on its body to reveal its true form to everyone.
Those seeing this spirit beast for the first time couldn't hide their shock.
The spirit beast resembled a standing rhinoceros, but its body bore no flesh or blood, only gleaming white bones covering its entire frame, as if its life consisted solely of crystalline bones.
This was a ninth level high level Imperial grade spirit beast, the Bone Armor Rhino!
Sharp vines, carrying a pungent scent of blood, slowly contracted. Several ghostly vine flowers quietly floated in front of the city wall, their large blood colored petals almost obscuring half the sky, while faint blood particles permeated the air.
Below the city wall, billowing dust spread around as the form of the Frostwing bat king appeared in the eyes of many onlookers. Suddenly, a chorus of startled whispers erupted.
Black wings shielded the Frostwing bat king's body, but those broad wings, covered with black ice, were now filled with countless bloody holes. The largest, about the size of a bowl, matched perfectly with the horn of the Bone Armor Rhino.
It was evident that this was the work of the Bone Armor Rhino.
Blaze Regret's dark eyes flickered slightly, and he felt a bit shocked. The strength of the Bone Armor Rhino was surprisingly formidable. Only the Rock horn Dragon Rhinocerous that wielded the Dragon Seal could possibly contend with it.
Flapping its damaged wings, the Frostwing bat king slightly moved, trying to struggle to take flight again.
