After Shang Xia’s clone left the items with Yun Jing, he didn’t know that the 2 treasures he left behind would cause the 3 deputy patriarchs to be so worked up.

Fortunately, Shang Xia sent his clone over. Perhaps, it was all a part of his calculated plan so that he would be able to avoid their questioning. After his clone was done with the explanation, he didn’t have to care about the questions they might have. Even if they tried to probe further, his clone would simply use the excuse that his true body hadn’t informed him to avoid the topic.

With that, they couldn’t make things difficult for him either.

After bidding them farewell, Shang Xia’s clone took his leave.

For him to swallow a good portion of the energy contained in the Star Origin Lord’s clone, no matter how high the limit of energy the Crimson Soul Tablet could contain, it was still filled to the brim. It started to pour energy into Shang Xia after conversion to alleviate its burden.

That was why Shang Xia entered seclusion. One reason was so that he could improve, but the second was because he had no choice as there was just too much energy!

He knew that if he didn’t enter seclusion immediately, he would have to split off a fourth clone in order to use up some inner qi. However, if that were to happen, his soul might not be able to endure the burden of being split up into so many parts!
