Sovereign of the Firmaments

As soon as the evil entity inside the cracked earth finished its words, the black mist that was coming out of the crack increased all of a sudden.

The black smoke that was coming out of the shadow dragon's mouth to stop the black mist of the evil entity was clearly losing its ability to stop the black mist anymore.

"This time, I will be coming out of this crack at any cost and no one can stop me…Haha."

With the increase of the black mist, the cracks on the ground once again started.

However, the shadow dragon was not giving up just yet as it changed its attacks to stop the black mist from coming out of the crack.

"What's happening here?"

Just then, Lucas arrived along with the four evolved lynxes and asked about the current situation.

At the same time, he noticed that there were large cracks on the ground just below the main portal. Moreover, those cracks were increasing at a good pace as the black mist was coming out of the crack.

"Young Master, the eight-legged evil humanoid being sacrificed itself to summon someone named Azik."

Beck answered Lucas without wasting any time while Lucas was observing the situation at the main portal.

'What the hell is happening now? There was no mention of this in the disaster.'

Lucas frowned as he continued to think, 'However, since I still didn't get the confirmation from the system that I completed my first disaster, then this is also included in the disaster.'

The evil entity's words shocked everyone standing there as they looked at Lucas because he was the only human who arrived now.

"I remember you…you are the one who shouted that you will make me your slave or something like that."

Lucas finally remembered where he heard that voice when the evil entity mentioned 'Night Cerberus'.

After he killed Night Cerberus, an evil protal opened in the Cerberus's cave and the evil voice threatened him to replace his slave Night Cerberus for killing it.

However, Lucas used the spell [Invisibility] to hide from the eyes of the evil entity to escape from it.

"What a small world? Not only did I meet the shadow wyvern that piqued my interest a few years back but I also met the second being that piqued my interest."

The evil entity seemed like it was excited about something and at the same time, the black mist's density also increased as though the evil entity wanted to speed up the process.

'System, is there any way to stop that being from coming out of the crack?'

Lucas knew that physical attacks were useless on the evil entity which was yet to appear in front of their eyes.

The shadow dragon was trying to stop the black mist from coming out of the crack; however, it was evident that the shadow dragon was clearly losing against the black mist.

At the same time, Lucas knew that he or his spirit beasts didn't have the power to stop the entity that was trying to come out of the earth crack.

          The host can't kill an evil being that is equivalent to a heavenly spirit beast. Try your best in closing the crack and the portal will be closed on its own.

Just like always, Lucas was unable to rely on the system; however, he changed his focus from the evil protal to the cracks on the ground.

'Now, how do I close the crack?'

Lucas thought about it as he asked the same question to the Shadow dragon who seemed to have some knowledge about it.

'Master, I don't know exactly how to close this crack on the ground; however, I am sure about one thing and it was to stop the black mist from entering into the human world.'

The shadow dragon replied to Lucas through the vice transmission without wasting any time as it continued, 'The more black mist enters this firmament, the bigger that crack on the ground becomes. If my guess is right, the evil entity on the other side can come out of the crack when it reaches 100 meters.'

'What? 100 meters?'

Lucas frowned as he looked at the crack on the ground that was spreading without showing any signs of stopping.

'What happens if the crack's length increases beyond that 100 meters? Of course, other than the evil entity coming out, what else will happen?'

Lucas clenched his fists as he asked another question.

'I don't know.'

However, the shadow dragon didn't have an answer for that, but it still continued, 'Nevertheless, when the crack is big enough, the barren firmament and the low nether realm will become one. Even though they become one, the barren firmament will completely disappear as it will be invaded by evil energy.'

The shadow dragon's words made Lucas raise his brows as he looked at the cracks on the grounds that had already reached 30 meters in length.

All of a sudden, Lucas thought of something and focused on it, 'When the crack is large enough, the evil energy from the low nether realms will invade the entire Barren firmament.'

'Does this mean, this black mist is evil energy?'

Lucas felt like he was onto something as he ordered the system, 'System, check whether this black mist is the evil energy or not?'

          Analysing the black mist coming out of the black mist.

          It is detected that it is evil nether energy from the low nether realms.

Lucas received the two system notifications in his head, making him reveal an ear to ear smile on his face.

'Looks like my guess is right.'

Lucas could already guess that the black mist was like the evil energy; however, it was a little bit different from the evil energies he felt before.

So, he wanted to check whether it was evil energy or not before starting his plan.

'Master, I can't stop the black mist anymore. All my energy is depleted.'

All of a sudden, the shadow dragon stopped releasing its shadow breath and others attacked to stop the black mist because he was doing that for a while now, making him almost devoid of any energy in his bestial sea.

"Haha…what happened? Are you already out of your energy?"

The evil entity felt that the shadow dragon was unable to use its skills as it mocked the shadow dragon.

'Master, please give me a dark ember fruit. I will stop the black mist for another few minutes while you think of some way to close the spatial crack on the ground.'

Since the dark essence fruit could instantly fill 50 percent of the sea of any dark elemental beings, the shadow dragon asked for fruit.

'There is no need to waste your breath on this black mist anymore.'

However, Lucas shook his head as he replied with a slight smile on his face, 'Since the evil entity wants to send black mists in this barren firmament, let's make full use of it.'

'But, master…'

'Just wait and see, dragon.'

Before the shadow dragon could finish its words, Lucas interrupted it as he summoned a quail-sized egg from his inventory.

'An egg?'

Shadow Dragon and everyone around Lucas raised their brows as they looked at the small egg in Lucas' hand.

Even though they don't know why Lucas became confident all of a sudden, they were sure about one thing and it was Lucas who found something to stop the crack from expanding.

"To stop an evil entity like you, there is no need for us to waste our energy. This small egg is enough."

Until now, Lucas was talking with others through the voice transmission and this time, since he was talking to the evil entity, he directly spoke and tried to make the evil entity furious as much as possible.

"What did you say?"

As Lucas expected, the evil entity on the other side of the spatial crack became angry because it felt like its pride was hurt.

"I am going to kill you."

Maybe the evil entity was furious, the black mist coming out of the spatial crack increased to the next level and the speed at which the crack increased also became very fast.

"Little one, go and show your might."

While saying that, Lucas moved closer to the spatial crack while extending his hand in which he had an egg.

All of a sudden, the black mist that was flying away from the crack was attracted by the egg and started disappearing without any trace.
