The situation worsened when the Three Leaders and the Old Leader began to fight.

Among such aggravation of the situation, the great attacks of these four people caused tremendous havoc around the city, destroying a huge part of the city.

However, the greatest chaos occurred between the Kaze Family and the Adams.

The Adams received help from an unknown who was more powerful than both Leaders, unleashing an almost one-sided slaughter.

Still, that's when some helpers came in from all sides, and the carnage reached absurd levels.

Even the Adams were losing a lot of people, causing Ryan Adams to frown.

When he stopped, his father did, too, and looked at him. "Is something wrong, Ryan?" he asked.

Ryan Adams looked sideways and noticed Leader Kaze, who appeared to be breathing heavily. "This we can win, Father. But..."

"But?"

Ryan sighed. "I think we'll lose more than we thought. Look at the battle up there."

Robert looked up. The fight between the old Leader and the three new guys was not going well for his side. Besides, the residual attacks from those guys had the ability to kill almost anyone in this city, and those attacks were hitting different sides of the city every now and then.

As Robert watched, he had to jump to the side to dodge one of those, which destroyed a house near them.

If everything continued like this, the destruction of Clan City was only a matter of time. It would be fine if the Old Leader didn't die since that guy has a high enough status and power to keep the city's enemies out, but at the rate they were going, even if they would win...

They might not be able to maintain the status of power.

After seeing this, Robert sighed and looked at Leader Kaze as he spoke to his son. "My son, you must know that you are my last remnant in this world. I have already lived many years, so I can die peacefully, and the family will not be affected. But you can reach greater heights than mine. Therefore, think of a way to return. You should not have come first, but since you are here, go to the Academy.

The Academy is still receiving the protection of the Allen Clan; you will be safe there."

"If the City of Clans must perish, then it will not happen without me first taking all the traitors with me. You don't have the love for the City that we have, so don't worry about it. Let this old man step forward again." At last, Robert smiled and turned to look at him.

"You have a good wife; you'll be able to expand our Adams Family more in the future, won't you?"

Ryan looked at him with some surprise but smiled. "Father, you don't need to do that. It's okay. This time, we won't be able to hold the city even if that old man succeeds. But, even if we win today, we need not seek to prevail but to seek the one side that will keep us alive. The City of Clans may change hands, but that will not be treason.

It will be natural because we cannot stand up to them." He replied as he lowered his voice.

Robert frowned. "Is someone coming?"

"Someone is here, father. Thanks to that, I have a plan; I came here because I'm following that plan."

"Who?"

"Clan Allen. I'm in contact with their new Leader, Matthew Dietrich." Ryan replied, surprising Robert.

"W-what? The Allens are really here?"

Ryan nodded. "I'm sure they are. That's why we have to get on their side. They want nothing more than the City; they know that by controlling Clan City, they will have total control of this entire region and practically the Academy."

Robert Adams frowned. He knew perfectly well what it meant that the Allen Clan intended to take over the City of Clans. He even knew it better than Ryan himself.

The City of the Clans is not only the Leader of the Academy and all the territory that conforms to it, but it is also the Second most important City in the World, only behind the Central City. This place is also in a perfect location to control the Dark Kingdom.

Up to this point, most Vampire Clans did not meddle in political matters. Although the Vampire Clans indirectly controlled the Kingdoms, they allowed the kingdoms to be more independent. But if the Allen Clan stepped in and took control of the City of Clans, it was almost equal to obtaining the entire Kingdom, this time directly.

'Why this sudden change in plans? Is there something we don't know that they know?' Robert couldn't deny that he was worried.

But he knew what his son said was true. Getting on the right side in a war tends to be why many Clans have existed for so long, so he looked at him.

"Ryan, are you sure about this?" he asked softly. Ryan then showed him a letter.

"It was brought to me by Sophia Murphy, so the Murphys are likely here too. You know, the Allens seem to hate traitors deeply; this time, they want them all dead, surely." He replied.

When Robert read the letter, he sighed and looked straight ahead, smiling.

He stood firmly on the ground and shouted, "Listen up, all members of the Adams Clan." He spoke. All the nearby Clan members looked at him in confusion. Some were wounded, some were dying, and some were still fighting, but the Leader had spoken; they were to listen.

"The Kaze Clan is not only our target for revenge; I have received insider information that they have betrayed the race and committed heinous acts. According to sources, they are trying to turn our City over to the Human Race; they have colluded with humans!"

After hearing this, the entire Adams Clan was shocked and turned their gazes fiercely towards the Kaze, who were also in shock.

"Our Law in Adams is that anyone allied with humans must be exterminated! Humans, a race far more cunning than ours, who always play their cards in a hidden manner and who are never ready for dialogue without having treacherous ideas in the background, THAT is the race we can never ally with!"

"That's the race that has caused us so much trouble for years; we can't live with them, much less the traitors who support them!"

"All Adams who listen to me, it's time for the real Adams Rebellion! Death to the Kaze, tear their traitorous bodies apart!" Robert's great shout could be heard throughout much of the city, for he did not hide his voice.

That unleashed huge waves among many people, and suddenly, shouts and insults rained down from one side to the other.
