Netori: I Shall Steal All Of My Enemies' Women For Revenge!

Chapter 169 Ren The Coward

"Are you crazy?! Of course that bastard couldn't be part of our Crown of Ito! Look at him?!"

Ren protested, pacing around the classroom with exaggerated steps. His finger jabbed in Haruto's direction, as if pointing alone could drive his point home.

"Look at him! Do you think he's the type of guy who believes women are just dolls for men's pleasure?!"

Ren's voice grew louder with each word, and he came to an abrupt stop in front of Daiki, crossing his arms dramatically.

"He's always glaring at me—especially when I'm with a woman—like he's itching to punch me in the face!" Ren continued, clearly irritated.

The truth stung, though. Haruto did want to punch him in the face—always had.

The thought of doing so at least once was tempting, but Ren never stepped foot in the Underground Ring.

That cowardice was what made it frustrating.

"Come on, Ren. Aren't we childhood friends?"

Haruto's voice was calm, but the mocking undertone was unmistakable.

The words, meant to sound friendly, only twisted the knife further.

Ren's nostrils flared, his lips curling into a sneer. "Are you mocking me or something? I don't even remember you at all."

"Hm… doubt that." Haruto tilted his head slightly, the corner of his mouth curling into a smirk.

He pushed off the wall and took a slow step forward. "You've always hated me, right? But I never did anything to piss you off back then. I've always wondered why you're like that."

Daiki, lounging on the sofa nearby with Azuma engrossed in a game console, raised an eyebrow.

The conversation had taken an interesting turn, enough to pull him away from his game.

"That's right, Ren." Daiki chimed in, setting the controller down and crossing one leg over the other.

"I've always wondered why you hated Haruto so much. What's the story there? What do you know about him from the past?"

His curiosity was genuine, though the teasing undertone lingered.

Haruto glanced around the room, a sly grin creeping across his face. "See? Everyone here agrees with me."

He motioned toward the gang members, who nodded silently, their eyes flicking between Ren and Haruto.

Ren's jaw clenched tight, his teeth grinding as he glared at Haruto. "No! I hate that damn face of yours! That's all there is to it! And I don't remember anything about you from my past!"

The room fell silent for a moment, tension thick enough to cut with a knife. Haruto leaned back against the wall, his smirk never fading.

"Interesting," Daiki murmured, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "So it's just his face, huh?"

Azuma snorted, barely suppressing a laugh.

Ren's glare didn't waver, but there was something in his eyes—something flickering beneath the surface.

Haruto caught it. A memory, perhaps? Or a buried resentment neither of them was willing to acknowledge.

Either way, he didn't want to give up yet.

Haruto rubbed his chin, a sly grin tugging at his lips. "How about this — let's both go to the Underground Ring. I'll slap the shit out of you there, and maybe it'll jog your memory."

"After that, we'll start fresh. Don't you guys agree?"

He glanced around at the gang members, who exchanged uncertain glances, waiting for their leader's reaction.

Daiki, who had been observing quietly from the sofa, blinked in surprise. A beat passed before he burst into laughter, doubling over as he clutched his stomach.

Wiping tears from his eyes, he finally managed to say, "I love your sense of humor."

His grin widened as he turned to Ren. "But seriously, he's got a point. Why not settle your issues in the Underground Ring? Doesn't sound like a bad idea, right?" He smirked, the amusement dancing in his eyes.

Ren's face turned crimson as his anger bubbled beneath the surface. He clenched his fists, trying to keep his composure, but the suggestion had him cornered.

If he refused, Daiki and the others would mock him — again. And it wasn't the first time he had turned down Haruto's challenge.

But the memory of Haruto's brutal fight with Daiki lingered in his mind, making his palms sweat.

Haruto took a slow step forward, his gaze locked on Ren. "Or… you could just accept me as part of your Crown of Ito."

He tapped Ren's chest lightly, the gesture both mocking and casual. "For the sake of childhood friendship."

Ren slapped Haruto's hand away with a sharp, resounding smack. "No!" His voice was firm, leaving no room for negotiation.

Turning to Daiki, he straightened his posture, his expression defiant. "Daiki, remember our deal? You agreed to let me handle this operation without interference. Full control."

Daiki exhaled deeply, shaking his head in disappointment. "It's a shame, Haruto. But he's right — I can't overstep that boundary."

Then Daiki's gaze hardened as he glared at Ren. "But don't get too comfortable. You act all high and mighty, but remember — your life is still in my hands. You've got your little toys, sure. But you're not the leader, Ren. Don't forget that."

The sharpness in Daiki's words hit Ren like a slap. His defiance faltered for a moment, and his body stiffened like a tree rooted in place.

Slowly, he nodded.

Haruto sighed, a hint of disappointment creeping into his expression. "Fine. I'll drop it." Enjoy more content from empire

He turned on his heel, walking toward the edge of the room. "But I'm done sending you porn videos. No point, really. Doesn't benefit me anymore."

The sudden shift left the room tense. No one dared to speak.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

Ren puffed out his chest, trying to reclaim some of his lost pride. "Hah! We don't need your low-quality crap anyway. We can produce something better ourselves."

Haruto chuckled softly, shaking his head. "Good luck with that."

Without another glance, he strolled out of the classroom, pushing the door open with a soft creak.

As he walked down the hall, he sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. 'That damned Ren. What a douchebag.'

His phone buzzed in his pocket. Pulling it out, he saw a new message from Ayaka.

[Yoshida Ayaka: Of course. Let's meet after school.]

Haruto tucked the phone back into his pocket, a thoughtful expression crossing his face.

'Now, how the hell do I get her to agree with my plan?'
