Chapter 2572: The Answer (2)

Yun Ling smiled, a faint but genuine smile. "I know you will, Young Master. But remember, this is not a path you must walk alone. You have allies, people who believe in you and will fight alongside you."

Yun Lintian nodded, his heart filled with a newfound sense of purpose. But there was still one question burning in his mind, one he couldn't let go of.

"Yun Ling," he said, his voice hesitant. "You said my father is technically dead. But... is there any way to bring him back? To restore him to his physical form?"

Yun Ling's expression grew pained, and she looked away for a moment before meeting his gaze again. "That is a question I cannot answer, Young Master. The laws of life and death, especially at the level of the Primordial Gods, are complex and beyond my understanding. But I do know this-your father's sacrifice was not in vain. His essence is still fighting, still protecting you. And as long as his will remains, there is always hope."

Yun Lintian's heart ached at her words, but he nodded. He understood that some things were beyond his control, at least for now. But he also knew that he couldn't give up. If there was even the slightest chance of saving his father, of reuniting his family, he would take it. No matter the cost.

"Thank you, Yun Ling," he said, his voice filled with gratitude. "For telling me the truth. For being here."n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Yun Ling's smile softened. "You are not alone, Young Master. Remember that. No matter how difficult the path ahead may be, you have people who believe in you. And together, we will face whatever comes."

Yun Lintian took a deep breath, his resolve solidifying. The road ahead would be long and fraught with danger, but he was ready. He had finally found the answers he had been searching for, and now, he would do whatever it took to fulfill his destiny.

"One last question," He looked at Yun Ling and asked. "Who is the Goddess of Chaos? Is it my mother?"

Yun Ling smiled and said. "She's your mother's avatar."

Yun Lintian was slightly surprised. "What about the founder of the Misty Cloud Sect?" "That's your mother, Young Master. In order to deceive the God of Time, she sealed a part of her memory and power and became an ordinary person in the Azure World, a world that the God of Fate created," Yun Ling explained.

"I see..." Yun Lintian finally understood why Yun Wushuang, the founder of the Misty Cloud Sect, seemed to disappear without a trace after the invasion of the Abyssal World back then. She had probably awakened her memory and power and erased her trace from history in order to avoid the God of Time's perception.

Yun Lintian thought for a moment and said, "With my current strength, I have no confidence in facing Fan Shen and the Lord of Chaos. How should I improve my strength further?"

He honestly had no idea how he should improve his strength quickly at this stage. He had basically exhausted every means at his disposal. Even the Chaos Crystal he got from the World Eater couldn't improve his strength significantly.

Yun Ling smiled and said, "That's why I came here, Young Master."

Yun Ling's smile deepened, and she extended her hands, palms facing upward. In each hand, a radiant orb of light began to form, pulsing with an ancient, profound energy. The orbs glowed with a brilliance that seemed to transcend the very fabric of reality, their power resonating with the essence of the universe itself.

"These," Yun Ling said, her voice calm but filled with reverence, "are the legacies of the God of Mountain and the God of River, two of the Primordial Gods of this timeline. They have entrusted their power to you, Young Master, to aid you in your journey. With their strength, you will be one step closer to reaching the Primordial God Realm."

Yun Lintian's eyes widened as he stared at the two orbs. He could feel the immense power radiating from them, a power that seemed to call out to him, to resonate with his very soul. The God of Mountain and the God of River-these were beings of unimaginable strength, guardians of the natural order, and now their legacies were being offered to him.

"Did they really entrust it to me?" Yun Lintian asked, his voice filled with awe and uncertainty. He thought of Tian He and Shan Que, the inheritors of the God of River and the God of Mountain. It turned out their powers were taken away.

Yun Ling's expression softened, and she looked at him with a mixture of pride and determination. "Because you are the chosen one, Young Master. You are the seed of fate, the one destined to bring balance to the realm. The God of Mountain and the God of River recognized this, and they have chosen to lend you their strength. It was also an agreement between them and the God of Fate. Do not doubt yourself. You are worthy of this power."

Yun Lintian hesitated for a moment, but then he nodded, his resolve hardening. He had come too far to turn back now. If this was what it took to protect the realm, to fulfill his destiny, then he would accept it.

"What do I need to do?" he asked, his voice steady.

"Simply reach out and take them," Yun Ling said, her tone encouraging. "The legacies will merge with you, and their power will become yours. But be warned, Young Master-this will not be easy. The power of the Primordial Gods is immense, and it will test your limits. It will be more difficult to absorb it than the Primordial Sun God's one. You must be prepared to endure."

Yun Lintian nodded slowly. "Understood. I'm ready."

With a steady hand, he reached out and touched the first orb-the legacy of the God of Mountain. The moment his fingers made contact, a surge of energy rushed through him, filling his body with an overwhelming power.

Yun Lintian felt as if he were standing atop the highest peak, the strength of the mountains flowing through his veins. His muscles tensed, his bones creaked, and his mind was flooded with visions of towering peaks, unyielding and eternal.

The power of the God of Mountain was vast and unrelenting, a force of nature that demanded respect and resilience. Yun Lintian gritted his teeth, his body trembling as he struggled to contain the immense energy. But he refused to give in. He focused his mind, drawing on the strength of his will, and slowly, he began to absorb the legacy...
