My Ex-husband Regrets After Signing The Divorce

Chapter 63 - Apology

Chapter 63: Apology

“It’s not your turn to judge me. Apologize to Ah Xin.” Bai Ran looked down at Sun Mei coldly.

Sun Mei was frightened by that gaze and felt guilty, but she was still unconvinced. “Why should I apologize? I was telling the truth. If you can do this, you can’t stop others from talking about it.”

“The biggest mistake you made was that you shouldn’t have splashed coffee on Ah Xin!” Bai Ran’s eyes were cold as if she was going to swallow Sun Mei alive the next second.

She had just passed by and heard the commotion inside. When she came in, she saw Lan Xin wiping her face. Coffee was still dripping from her hair, and her collar was filled with coffee stains. Coupled with Sun Mei’s last words, she instantly understood what was going on.

Lan Xin looked at Bai Ran, her eyes widened like copper bells. She had never seen Bai Ran like this. She had always thought that Bai Ran was a professional and obedient girl. But today, she looked like a queen.

“She deserved it!” Sun Mei remained firm.

“Then why don’t we go to Boss and ask him to be the judge?” Bai Ran tilted her head and looked at Sun Mei.

At the mention of Boss, even Lan Xin’s aura dropped. She tugged at the corner of Bai Ran’s shirt and said, “I’m just too angry at her for talking about you. If we make a scene at Boss’s place, Boss will think that we’re causing trouble. Furthermore, she should be the one apologizing.”

“It’s okay.” Bai Ran patted Lan Xin’s hand gently. “This is not your problem. Don’t be afraid. I don’t need her to apologize to me either.”

“Tell me. Apologize or look for Boss. Pick one.” Bai Ran looked at Sun Mei coldly.

Sun Mei’s eyes darted around as she weighed the pros and cons in her heart. It was indeed as Lan Xin had said earlier. Bai Ran was a popular model specially trained by her boss, while she herself was just a substitute model. If Bai Ran really wanted to demand an explanation, then the boss might punish her, or the heavy punishment might be to make her leave.

Sun Mei pursed her lips and said in a mosquito-like voice, “I apologize…”

“I can’t hear you,” Bai Ran said.

“I choose to apologize!” Sun Mei shouted loudly, her face filled with grievance.

“Okay, come.” Bai Ran leaned against the table beside her and made a “please” gesture. Her expression was still serious and unquestionable.

“Lan Xin, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said that, and I shouldn’t have poured coffee on you. It’s all my fault. Please forgive me,” Sun Mei said pitifully with her head lowered.

“Forget it. You’re not allowed to do this in the future.” When Lan Xin saw this, her heart softened a little. Besides, it was fine if she chose to stop while she was ahead. After all, they were still in the same company.

“Let’s go, Ah Xin.” Bai Ran held Lan Xin’s hand and returned to the dressing room.

She was now a model specially groomed by the company. The company had equipped her with a dedicated dressing room, a dedicated makeup artist, and a stylist. It was not the first time Lan Xin went in. She was still a little envious, but she was really happy for Bai Ran.

“Sit down first. I’ll come over later,” Bai Ran instructed Lan Xin and walked out.

When she came back, she held a towel and a pot of water in her hands.

“I’ll clean your face and hair first. You can change your clothes and put on makeup later.” Bai Ran wet the towel and wiped Lan Xin’s face bit by bit.

At this moment, Bai Ran’s face was gentle and her movements were gentle and meticulous. She was no longer in her previous state. She was like a furious hedgehog that had instantly retracted its thorns and turned into a cute creature.

“I’m fine. But you really surprised me just now. I’ve never seen you like this.” Lan Xin was a little surprised, but she was also very touched.

“Who asked her to bully my best friend here? This has already touched my bottom line,” Bai Ran said seriously, her hands still moving.

“Really? Ran Ran, do you think I’m your best friend here?” Lan Xin grabbed Bai Ran’s hand happily.

“Of course. Don’t you realize that our names are actually very fateful? One is surnamed Bai, and the other is surnamed Lan. They’re both colors, haha. Besides, you’re the first person I knew when I entered this company, and we have the best relationship. You only heard a few words from others about me, but you stood up for me. I’m really thankful.” Bai Ran held Lan Xin’s hand.
