Chapter 1
C1 – Test Results
“Students, the talent and cultivation test has ended. Now, I will announce the results.”
In the classroom of the Advanced Martial Class 7 of the Third Ancient Martial Academy, the homeroom teacher, Wan Yong, held a list of results and said slowly.
“Yi Liang, 2-star talent, Vitality Stage Level 2, result qualified.”
“Zhen Quishui, 3-star talent, Vitality Stage Level 3, result good.”
“Duan Qishan, 2-star talent, Vitality Stage Level 1, result poor.”
“Lu Hongkuo, 5-star talent, Vitality Stage Level 4, excellent result!”
Wan Yong’s words caused a commotion in the classroom.
“As expected of the class monitor, Lu Hongkuo. His results are one of the best in the entire first year.”
“Ling Gao, the class monitor of the Advanced Martial Class 2, is a 5-star talent, and he is at the Level 5 of the Vitality Stage.”
“He is too strong. My talent is only at 2-star!”
“Although the 2-star talent is not high, it is still much stronger than some trash!”
“Do you think of him as Xun Zhonghou?”
“Who else could it be other than him?”
At this moment, Wan Yong, who was on the podium, coughed lightly and said, “Everyone, be quiet!”
The classroom immediately fell into silence.
Wan Yong narrowed his eyes and looked at a student with a delicate appearance and a slightly slim figure. He then said, “Xun Zhonghou, your talent is at the 1-star! You have yet to advance to the Vitality Stage! Your results are not qualified!”
“He deserves to be called the number one trash in the academy. He deserves it!”
“Xun Zhonghou, hurry up and withdraw from the academy. It is a great humiliation for us to be in the same class as you!”
The classroom was filled with laughter. All the students were looking at Xun Zhonghou with strange expressions.
Xun Zhonghou lowered his head, his face red.
The mocking voices in his ears made him extremely angry and unwilling!
“I’m not a piece of trash! I must become a martial cultivator!”
Xun Zhonghou clenched his fists tightly, a voice echoing in his heart.
Half a year ago, he had transmigrated to the body of a seventeen-year-old youth from the Cassiopeia.
The Cassiopeia was a very dangerous world, and it was also a world where the strong were respected.
If he wanted to establish a foothold in the Cassiopeia, he had to become a martial cultivator.
However, not only was Xun Zhonghou’s cultivation talent poor, his body was extremely weak. This caused him to be unable to break through to the Vitality Stage for a long time.
After cultivating for half a year, he was still an ordinary person without any cultivation.
“Xun Zhonghou, according to the rules of the academy, you have one chance to enter the Demon Quelling Tower. Are you going to participate or give up?”
Wan Yong waved his hand, signaling for the students to quiet down. Then, he looked at Xun Zhonghou and asked in a low voice.
The Demon Quelling Tower was a spatial treasure. It had a space within it, and it had countless vicious beasts.
The vicious beasts were foreign species. Not only were they strong, they were also bloodthirsty.
The reason why the Cassiopeia was dangerous was because a large number of vicious beasts had broken into it.
According to the rules of the Third Ancient Martial Academy, students who had not broken through to the Vitality Stage after cultivating for half a year would either be expelled or enter the Demon Quelling Tower once and stay there for half an hour. Only then would they be qualified to continue staying in the academy.
“Xun Zhonghou, give up!”
Yi Liang’s deskmate, Yi Liang, lightly touched Xun Zhonghou’s arm and whispered.
Although there was no danger to one’s life if one entered the Demon Quelling Tower alone, they would suffer inhumane torture.
After all, everyone knew about the ferocity of the Vicious Beasts. Not to mention ordinary people, even martial cultivators at the Level 1 of Vitality Stage would not be able to stay inside for half an hour.
