Chapter 122 122 New Members
"Your equipments are ready" the man spoke as the chests were opened.
The man who walked in was slightly shorter than the chest carriers and had a large beard which he tied with a ribbon.
"Huh!! these are all equipments for knights, I have no use for them" Alex said.
"We promised a full armor set, if you have no use for them then you can sell them out, or sell them back to us" the man spoke.
"What about the sword, what quality is the sword?" Alex asked.
"It's rare quality made from the finest steel found outside of melmond, you won't get a better grade in the whole of Bronze continent"
"Then I'll take the sword, how much would you give me for the rest of the equipment?"
"I'll take mine"
"I'll also take mine," the two players behind Alex said, both of them were swordsmen so they would have good use for the equipment unlike Alex.
"We'll give you 200,000 blue coins for the equipment minus the sword, that's final, if you don't accept you can take it elsewhere," the man said angrily.
The other two players accepted the equipment so he was angry at Alex for rejecting the equipment, if he was a knight he would have found good use for them, but Alex was an assassin and the armor would have hindered his movement.
The men holding the chest handed the other equipments to the remaining two players and they exited the building leaving Alex.
"I'll take it," Alex said immediately.
The men holding the chest rummaged through the chest and removed a sword from the chest, after handing the sword to Alex they carried the chest back inside the building.
[Broad sword - Rare]
"Meet her for your coins," the man said and followed the chest carriers.
"Wait...I thought I was supposed to receive a pass for the coliseum or something?" Alex asked.
"It's here don't worry," the girl behind the counter said, the man turned around and glared at Alex before walking through the door.
"What's his problem" Alex mumbled.
"He's the best blacksmith in melmond, so he got angry when you rejected his armor set" the girl spoke.
"He's the blacksmith, I didn't know...but I don't have any use for his armor set, they are too heavy and they would definitely hinder my movement" Alex said as he walked towards her.
He stood in front of the counter as he waited for the girl to fetch his coins and the coliseum pass.
"Are you planning to participate in the coliseum?" the girl asked.
"Is the coliseum like the arena?"
"Yes but the rules are different, but the rest is similar, but all the players there are different from the one you faced here," the girl said.
"High-level players, I'll definitely participate in the coliseum" Alex mumbled with a smile as the girl handed him the coins.
[Inventory]
Alex opened his inventory and kept the coins and the sword he got inside, he collected the sword in case Max wanted it cause he wasn't going to wield a sword like this.
The girl handed him the pass for the coliseum and Alex stared at the scroll handed to him, the coliseum contained some writing that Alex couldn't understand and then a symbol was drawn on the scroll.
"When you get to the coliseum, hand them this scroll and you would be allowed to participate, I hope you survive the battle, I wouldn't want your handsome face to go to waste," the girl said with a smile.
"I'll try my best to survive," Alex said as he walked away from the counter.
Alex exited the building and in front of him stood Max, Gabriel, Rebecca, Lynx, Zina, and Lena, all of them waiting for Alex.
"Hi guys," Alex said.
"Hey bro, how's Northfrost, I know you hate the cold," Gabriel said with a smile.
"Hi," Max and Rebecca said.
"The cold is okay and we moved to a new apartment, it's wonderful," Alex said.
"Are you ready to go now?" Lena asked Alex.
Max and Gabriel looked at Lena before looking back at Alex wondering what was happening.
"Guys, this is Lena, Zina, and Lynx, they'll be joining us on our journey to the Silver continent," Alex said with a smile.
"Nice to meet you, I'm joining your group," Lynx said.
Max and Gabriel knew Lynx was a player so if Alex wanted him to join then that means he was good, but Zina and Lena on the other hand were NPCs so they wonder why Alex was taking them.
"Alex can we talk to you," Gabriel said and walked away from the group, Max and Alex followed him behind.
"Who are those?" Gabriel whispered glancing in their direction.
"Those girls are NPCs right, why are you bringing them with us?" Max asked also keeping his voice down.
"First Lynx is a marksman and Max said we needed one so I figured he'd join us, but the girls are on their way to Silver continent and you told them to tag along, they are both healers," Alex said.
"We already have a healer in our group, and she had leveled up, she restores more HP now," Max said thinking Alex was finding a way to get rid of Rebecca.
"I know but those girls are NPCs, unlike Rebecca they have no cooldown when healing, besides they'll leave us when we get there so don't make a big deal out of it and Rebecca is still with us I'm not kicking her out," Alex said.
"So we can also bring more people in the group right," Max said.
"Why would you bring more people, we don't need anyone else, I'm the leader so you have to respect my decisions" Alex with laughter in his voice.
"Just because you are level..." Max stopped when he saw Alex's level hovering over his head, he was surprised because Alex was now a level 20 player.
"Alex, when did you get to level 20?" Gabriel asked with a surprised expression.
"The arena tournament, it was quite interesting," Alex said with his shoulder held high.
"We went hunting and thought we have leveled up enough to rival with you and once again you went up more levels" Max pouted.

"So what's our next move, I have one last stop then we should leave for the next city" Alex spoke.
"Where?" Gabriel asked.
"It's something small, it won't take a minute so you guys should move ahead, I'll join you guys, oh, and Max I got something from the arena for you," Alex said and brought out the Broad sword from his inventory and handed it to Max.
"Damn, this is definitely stronger than my current sword" Max mumbled as he swung it around with a smile on his face.
The three of them returned to where the others were standing, Rebecca and the girls were already laughing together like they were friends for a long time.
"You didn't tell me you have a healer in your group," Lena said as she looked at Rebecca with a smile.
"You guys should move ahead, I'll meet you before you leave the city, I have to see somebody before I leave," Alex said.
"Let's visit the merchant shop again to see if he got new items, message me if you are done," Gabriel said to Alex and he left the group.
He wanted to visit the girl that offered him the [orb of revival], he knew something like that was an important item and would definitely help him if he encountered trouble bigger than he could handle so he would try to get it at all cost.
The girl told Alex she lived in the building opposite the arena building so Alex walked across the street, the small sorry in front of the building was opened and Alex saw a staircase leading up.
Alex took the stairs and as he reached the top, a wooden door was in front of him and he knocked on the door without speaking.
"It's open come in" a familiar voice shouted from behind and Alex immediately opened the door.
Alex walked in and immediately his jaws dropped, in front of him stood the girl he saw behind the counter yesterday along with another girl but the situation was quite different.
Both of them were sitting down on a chair completely naked with their legs spread open.
