Chapter 171 Granny Satan
"Magician Emperor, Magician Emperor..." Aldric repeated the words several times.
This was the stage where one understood at least one branch of Origin Spells.
Since hearing about it, Aldric had wondered several times how strong the Magician Emperor was.
However, it seemed that they were much stronger than he had expected.
If he was near the power that had just appeared, who knew if he could still live.
This was a power that could look down on any kind of talent.
"Right, what is that Magician Emperor doing?" Aldric asked Sparrow, suspecting he might know something.
If we talk about that existence, even the King of the Holy Star Kingdom as well as his teacher are not yet Magician Emperor. They were just a more powerful Magician King.
That was what he heard from Sparrow.
A Magician Emperor was far above them.
"Except for that old woman who managed to advance to become a Magician Emperor. Only she has the highest possibility and she also has the power of the sun," Sparrow said after being asked.
"Who?" asked Aldric as the old man's answer was unclear.
He was a little surprised to hear that she was a woman.
"She's a very old woman, older than my father, even than the king's teacher. People often call her Granny Satan because she is very evil, likes to kidnap babies and feed on their souls. She also raised many evil children who love to kill and slaughter," Sparrow replied.
"Granny Satan!" Just her title made Aldric uncomfortable, especially after hearing of her crimes.
She was definitely someone he should avoid or he might die without knowing why.
"I can only hope she doesn't make a mess after her advancement. Right, it's better if she leaves the Lordless Territory," Sparrow said to himself.
"Does she always stay there?" Aldric asked again.
"Not always, but she does frequent the Lordless Territory. Although she's not interested in fighting over territory, who knows how much chaos her presence has caused." Sparrow became very sullen when she said that.
"Now that she's become a Magician Emperor, what a disaster for the world," he added.
"It really is a disaster..." Aldric agreed with the old man.
The ark continued to fly forward. After hours and hours, it finally passed through that series of mountains, arriving at a region that looked arid.
It was a region where the terrain seemed chaotic with many destroyed mountains or large trees growing in unclear positions. Even the rivers looked damaged.
The air here also gave the impression of being very hot, which was probably due to the many arid environments.
In some locations, Aldric saw burnt forests.
Sparrow had told him that the Lordless Territory had a very bad environment. Now he realized why there was no lord in this territory.
The tribes probably couldn't beat each other to become the true lord of this territory. However, the main reason it was without a true lord was because the surrounding kingdoms were not so interested in invading it.
"Master, look over there!" Sparrow suddenly pointed at something that made Aldric's eyes widen.
It was quite far away, but still quite clear.
He saw an enormous crater, black in color indicating that it had been created by an explosion, a very powerful explosion.
The crater was even still emitting smoke which meant that the explosion had just occurred.
The problem was that the size of the crater was too big.
It was probably a thousand times bigger than Heaven Valley City.
When he remembered about the previous sun, Aldric immediately suspected that it was because of that sun.
After all, the crater had clearly just appeared.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
"In the past, that area was an area full of large mountains with many small tribes living," Sparrow said in a somewhat low voice.
"Everything is destroyed now. Tens of millions of people must have died," he added.
Even he, who had a rather evil personality, looked distressed when he said that.
With a different point of view, Aldric wasn't quite sure how to react.
Despite feeling certain that this world was real, he somehow wasn't too uncomfortable with the deaths of so many people. Perhaps it was because he still had the strong thought that this was also just a game.
The crater was quite far from their ark, but he was worried that Granny Demon was still around, so he detoured slightly.
"That old woman should have already left," Sparrow said.
"If she's really here and after us, it's absolutely impossible to escape. Not only can Magician Emperors fly directly, they are also extremely fast. No object can match their speed. They can even fly straight to the moon." He explained.
Even so, Aldric still wanted to take a detour.
He couldn't rest easy like that.
"Approximately, how long before we reach the Torgan Tribe by this route?" he asked Sparrow.
"Probably about 20 minutes considering we're so fast," the old man replied.
Hearing that they only needed about 20 minutes, Aldric thought about waking Anna up.
Only, he was a bit distracted just thinking about it, wondering if he should go to her room.
However, then he thought that he might be enough with just knocking on her room door.
He couldn't believe she wouldn't wake up if he knocked loudly.
Immediately afterward he walked into the hallway she had entered.
This time he would also show Sparrow to her.
Although there were several rooms in the hallway, he immediately knew Anna's room because he could detect her presence.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
He knocked quite hard on the door.
"Lady Anna, we're almost there, you can get up now," he said, raising his voice slightly.
However, there was no response at all, which made him knit his brows.
He repeated the same thing, once, twice, three times, and there was still no response.
"How does this woman sleep?" He wondered as he knocked and called louder.
Was she really that hard to wake up prematurely?
After about 5 minutes of just knocking on the door, it opened by itself.
No, it opened due to the push from his knocking.
It was apparently unlocked.
When the door opened, he found a small room that was well-lit because the lights were on.
The size of the room was only about 4×4. It only contained one mattress with a size that was still enough for two people.
Of course, even though the mattress was a bit small, it was still a good mattress.
However, this was a room in an ark, so it couldn't be too big unless the ark was specially designed.
Anna's ark was basically for accommodating many people, not for individuals.
It was usually the one used by the royal army to bring soldiers to a place to fight.
The mattress was naturally uninteresting to notice.
Aldric's gaze was instantly drawn to the woman sleeping on her side on the mattress.
Her hair was still in a ponytail, and her hands were hugging the pillow.
Her eyes were so tightly closed that it looked like she would never wake up again if not for the fact that she was still breathing.
Her breathing seemed calm, making no sound at all.
Aldric's expression became erratic as he saw a woman sleeping on the bed and it was Anna, a beautiful middle-aged woman coupled with the status of a billionaire.
Her figure only looked more curvy when she was sleeping.
It was a sight that made the eyes unable to blink while the mind became somewhat difficult to control.
"How do I wake her up?" He wondered, hesitating to come closer as he felt it would be unkind.
"Ehh..." Then he saw her eyelids move slightly.
"Lady Anna, we've almost arrived... You can wake up now." Aldric immediately spoke again.
Without the door in the way, his voice should have sounded louder.
He even added a bit of aura into his voice so that it was undulating.
The woman's eyelids continued to move and her hands began to move.
Seeing that, he let out a sigh of relief, thinking that she might have started to wake up from her deep sleep.
It was just as he had hoped.
A few seconds later, her eyes finally opened, looking blank.
She immediately sat up even with a blank stare, as if she was trying to restore her mind.
When her eyes had somewhat brightened, she stared at the door, blinking her eyes a few times and holding her head.
"Emmm, yahh..." Her mouth let out incoherent words.
Aldric smiled wryly, finally realizing how this woman was when she fell asleep.
"Lady Anna, I will wait on the balcony," he said again before stepping away.
The woman needed to be given her own time to come back on.
Sparrow was still on the balcony, waiting quietly for him.
When he arrived, he pointed out a long river that was also very wide where there were many large fish swimming. Even the smallest fish had bodies up to three meters long.
"Master, this is the end of the river where my tribe is," he told him.
Faintly, the end of the river was visible from their location.
There, Aldric saw houses with unique designs, forming a city that was actually not small.
