630. Eight Supremes Descend on the Yin-Yang Immortal Domain

The main task had been on the eight Supremes—they needed to investigate the Yin-Yang Immortal Domain to devise a strategy to lure out all the dark demon supremes there and engage them in a crucial battle.

They had spent three days preparing, and though nothing could ever be guaranteed without fault, they were as ready as they could be.

"You're just in time, Lin Fei," greeted one of the Supremes. "We are ready to head directly to the Yin-Yang Immortal Domain. Once there, we will first attack key dark demon strongholds, destroy some of their bases, and kill some dark demons. Then, we will move directly to the southern part."

"There, the Dark Demon Domain has its second stronghold, reportedly overseen by several Supremes. That will be our opportunity. With your Illusory Realm, securing these dark Supremes should be manageable, right? If we're lucky, we might even eliminate some of their Supremes before a large force can respond. That would give us the upper hand and perhaps a slim chance of victory..."

The Azure Emperor Supreme detailed the plan meticulously, treating Lin Fei as one of their own—clear evidence of the high regard in which he held Lin Fei.

Lin Fei nodded solemnly and responded, "I will follow your arrangements, Azure Emperor Supreme."

"Good. Once we're in the Yin-Yang Immortal Domain, Lin Fei, your biggest concern will be your own safety," the Azure Emperor Supreme continued seriously. "Black Tortoise Supreme will accompany you at all times. But even so, you must remain cautious. Your safety may be even more crucial than ours. Do you understand?"

"Let's not delay any further; let's depart now," declared the Azure Emperor Supreme. Together, the group of nine, comprising the eight Supremes plus Lin Fei, stepped into a void portal and vanished, setting their course straight for the Yin-Yang Immortal Domain.

Upon arriving in the northern part of the Yin-Yang Immortal Domain, space rippled, and the group emerged with a sense of urgency.

"Move quickly, show no mercy at this stronghold," the Azure Emperor Supreme commanded. "Lin Fei, all the dark demon life essence will be yours."

Acknowledging with a nod, Lin Fei prepared himself for the task ahead.

As the Supremes appeared in the sky, the dark demons within the stronghold panicked.

"It's the Divine Realm's Supremes!" they shouted among each other, scrambling to escape and report the sudden invasion. But resistance was futile; they were up against eight Supremes, a meticulously planned and overpowering force.

As the dark demons attempted to flee, Lin Fei activated his Illusory Realm, engulfing the entire area of hundreds of miles around the stronghold. Instantly, every life within was suppressed, their minds shackled, leaving them disoriented and immobile.

Simultaneously, the eight Supremes struck. The very fabric of space seemed to collapse under their combined might. Within moments, the stronghold was obliterated, turned to ashes.

"Eternal Realm, gather!" Lin Fei commanded, his Eternal Realm springing into action, absorbing all the dark demon life essence released in the assault. This influx of life essence began to enrich his realm, spawning increasingly diverse and potentially higher forms of life within it.

However, no sentient life forms had emerged yet, which Lin Fei sensed might be the key to a qualitative transformation of his Eternal Realm.

In less than three breaths, what was once a buzzing stronghold of the Dark Demon Domain was reduced to nothingness.

"Do not tarry, let us proceed!" With these words, the Azure Emperor Supreme and his cohort vanished into the fabric of space, leaving no trace behind. They had just left the northern stronghold of the Yin-Yang Immortal Domain.

Then, leading Lin Fei, the Azure Emperor Supreme continued to appear across the eastern, western, and southern regions of the realm, laying waste to the Dark Demon Domain's major strongholds. Their speed was unfathomable, rendering the Dark Demon Domain's response sluggish and ineffective.

"Damnation, where have those Divine Realm Supremes gone?" bellowed the Dark Demon Lord. "To think, Supremes stooping to assault our strongholds! Capture them! We must surely catch them."

"All Supremes, mobilize at once, we must slay those Divine Realm Supremes!" roared the Dark Demon Lord in his fury. The intelligence reports were a blatant affront to his authority, and so, without hesitation and regardless of the cost, he ordered all Supremes to pursue and kill the Azure Emperor Supreme and his allies.

Meanwhile, the Divine Realm's Supremes had already reached the southern part of the Yin-Yang Immortal Domain. They were manifesting across various locations, primarily to obliterate significant strongholds of the Dark Demon Domain and to obfuscate the vision of their Supremes, making it impossible for the enemy to predict their next target. This strategy afforded Lin Fei and his companions precious time.

Although their surprise attacks yielded significant results, the Dark Demon Supremes were capable of similar tactics. If they remained active, they would eventually unveil traces of their movements, potentially leading to their encirclement and capture. This posed a danger, but it was precisely what the Azure Emperor Supreme intended—to actively lure the Dark Demon Domain into the open.

Before that, however, they had one more significant task to accomplish—a task so monumental that it would deeply wound the Dark Demon Lord.

"Up ahead lies the southern stronghold of the Dark Demon Domain, does it not?" queried one of the Supremes. "Several Dark Demon Supremes are stationed there. Although we slightly outnumber them, they could normally stall us."

"Even a momentary delay would suffice for other Dark Demon Supremes to arrive," another added. "Thus, we must slay one, perhaps even two or three Dark Demon Supremes before the others arrive, dealing a severe blow to their forces!"

"Lin Fei, the outcome now rests on you," concluded the Azure Emperor Supreme. All the Supremes then turned their gaze toward Lin Fei. Whether they could successfully eliminate a Dark Demon Supreme depended on Lin Fei's ability to 'shake' those Supremes with his Illusory Realm.
