I’ll Become a Villainess That Will Go Down in History

Chapter 460

460

“What an unusual and not-so-unusual group of people.”

I sat down in the middle of Albert and Alicia.

I was a little uncomfortable with the fact that Duke and Mel were not here.

“Um, where do I start?”

“How about starting with how you befriended a lion and started tangling with royalty?”

“That’s right!”

“Huh? What? Wait a minute.”

I involuntarily stopped the conversation.

There were too many questions they wanted to discuss in such a light-hearted manner.

I had never expected Alicia to lead an ordinary life in the Ravaal Kingdom, but her entrance was too strong.

“Gilles, there’s no end to it if you keep harping on every single thing.”

Henry looked at me seriously, wrinkling his brow.

“…Indeed.”

Let us just concentrate on keeping up with Alicia’s story.

“You know, Ali.”

Henry looked at Alicia, who gave a small nod of her head, “Yes?”.

“Were you not about to tell us what makes the Ravaal Kingdom so fascinating?”

“Oh, did I give it away?”

“Of course. I was trying to tell you what I found attractive about Ravaal Kingdom. You don’t have to make Ravaal Kingdom look good, just explain it to us, so we can get our heads around it.”

Nice Henry!

Alicia’s story definitely needs explanation. We would forever be stumped at the beginning of the story if we were told just the facts.

“I understand.”

Alicia said after thinking for a moment.

Before coming to the drawing room, I had asked Curtis briefly about the circumstances that had led to this, that Henry didn’t want Alicia to go to Ravaal Kingdom again….

I agree with Henry. I would like to share my opinion with him.

I would hate to think that Alicia would leave Duelkis Kingdom again. If possible, I would like her to stay in this country forever.

Or I would like her to take me with her to Ravaal Kingdom.

…Alicia might not want that, but….

“But it’s going to be a long story, so I’ll try to leave out the parts that can be left out.”

Saying that, Alicia began to speak.

Listening to her story, I found myself asking, “Why?” And “Why did you do that? How did that happen?” I had so many things I wanted to say to her.

We held on tight and listened to her talk until the end. Curtis and Henry looked enlightened and listened to Alicia’s story.

I could understand how they felt; I would have lost my mind if I had taken Alicia’s story seriously.

First of all, what’s this I heard about winning a brawl with a lion in the arena as a spectacle? Of course, the King would be very pleased with Alicia!

Did she heal the lion with magic and befriend him? Did she name her “Rai”? Because he was a lion? That’s too simple!

Assigned to the 2nd Prince’s unit and jumped into a poisoned lake where it was said no one would return alive to get fairies?

Met and educated by the grandfather of the deported trio, Alicia, Gayle and Eric?

And then served under the First Prince, who had a habit of taking a liking to you…?

Well, that was a fight for the throne!

And then she helped an assassin from Duke’s mother’s homeland, Melvin Kingdom, to become her servant… what?

While I was listening to the song, I was thinking “Alicia, you finally got a hold of the assassin?”, but when I think about it calmly, it’s just plain weird!

The assassin’s brother had Spotted Disease, and to cure the disease, she went into a dangerous forest and collected Maddie that bloomed on a cliff?

That’s harder than me making a cure with the same ingredients as Maddie! …Oh, but the replication magic didn’t work on Maddie, did it?

And then Duke appeared around that time, apparently.

Alicia had already started the fourth chapter of the story on her own.

I let out a big breath when Duke appeared.

Listening to Alicia’s story required energy and stamina. I should take a break…
