I Can Extract Game Items

Chapter 106 Second World Announcement

[ System Notification:Fruit of Sin Successfully Extracted ]

---

August stared at the notification briefly; 'Looks like I was able to fully extract it before he destroyed it.'

From the moment August broke away from the antigravitational zone, he activated his extraction ability and used it on the fruit unbeknownst to the solo player and everyone else.

The fruit of Sin could be retrieved to reality by any player but had he gone through the normal process, it would have taken longer and the solo player would have caught on since items tend to emit a particular glow when getting retrieved.

Also, the extraction process would have stopped when it got taken off his hands but because he used his own ability, it didn't stop.

Fortunately, he was able to extract it before the solo player destroyed it.

'Should I tell them?... No... I'll decide what to do with the fruit later,' August answered his own question internally.

After the solo player's departure, a sharp chime echoed in their line of sight.

"Finally," Drask groaned before collapsing onto one knee with his axe planted firmly in the ground. "We're getting out of this hellhole."

Viora moved to his side to restore what little health he had left. "Don't get too comfortable. Who knows if something else will surprise us."

"Don't jinx it," Drask growled with a low tone.

Aria turned to Lilo, Boris, and Ezran. "Before we get teleported out, I have a proposal. Since we cleared the dungeon together, I'd like to add you three to our party. That way, the world announcement will show us as one group under the Phoenix Celestial Guild."

Lilo practically jumped out of her skin with excitement. "Oh my God, yes! Yes, please add me! This is the best day of my life!" She turned to Boris and Ezran, gripping their arms tightly. "Do you hear that? We're going to be in the world announcement under Phoenix Celestial!"

Boris chuckled as his massive frame heaved with exhaustion. "I mean, I'm in if it makes things official. Besides, it's better than my name showing up solo."

Ezran blushed and nodded. "It's an honor, really. Thank you for including us."

"Good," Aria said with a nod, quickly accessing the party settings. "Hold still for a second…"

"Whoa!" Lilo squealed as her name lit up in the announcement. "This is happening! My name's out there for the whole world to see!"

"Phoenix Celestial takes another win," Torin smirked while folding his arms. "Guess that'll keep our guild leader happy."

"Yeah, well, not everyone's going to be happy about this," Gareth muttered. "A lot of guilds were gunning for this dungeon."

Meanwhile, on the upper floors of the dungeon, another Phoenix Celestial party stood in stunned silence.

"Damn it!" Their leader slammed her fist into a nearby wall, glaring at the announcement. "Aria bested me again? How is this happening? How?"

As the World Announcement rang out across Enders Light, the ripple effects of the news were immediate. Players from all corners of the game stopped in their tracks as their attention was captured by the rare and monumental notification.

"No way… Phoenix Celestial cleared it?"

A swordsman with gleaming armor shook his head in disbelief. "I knew they were good, but this fast? It hasn't even been more than two weeks since the dungeon appeared!"

Nearby, a mage tapped her chin thoughtfully. "Aleman… isn't that the same guy who made waves in the Ogre Dungeon fiasco?"

"Yes!" an excited ranger chimed in. "He was a solo player back then. How'd he end up in a Phoenix Celestial party?"

"That means Phoenix Celestial is dominating yet again," someone muttered bitterly. "No chance for the smaller guilds."

In the capital city of Altheria, a rival guild known as Ironblood Vanguard gathered in their grand hall. The guild leader, a burly warrior named Rendahl, slammed his fist onto the armrest of his throne-like chair.

"Phoenix Celestial again? Those bastards are stealing every opportunity!"

A scout hesitated before reporting. "Sir, from what we've gathered, the party that cleared it wasn't even one of their elite squads. It was a random team. Not one of the captains."

Rendahl's eyes narrowed. "How the hell did they manage it?"

"It gets worse," the scout added reluctantly. "The announcement mentioned Aleman. He's… not officially in their guild. He's the wild card."

Rendahl's frustration deepened. "This Aleman guy keeps popping up. Get me everything on him. I want to know if he's worth recruiting—or crushing."

---

In a small guild outpost on the edge of the Misty Glades, two independent players watched the announcement with mixed reactions.

"Damn, we were so close to entering that dungeon," one groaned. "And now it's cleared. All that grinding for nothing."

"Phoenix Celestial, though," the other said. "They're always ahead of the curve. Makes you wonder… what kind of loot they got in there."

"You think they got the fruit?" the first player whispered conspiratorially.

"Probably," came the answer. "But good luck to anyone trying to take it from them."

---

In the underground lair of the notorious Oni Terrorist Group, a few in-game leaders gathered around a glowing table that projected the announcement.

"The Ancient Swordking Dungeon is cleared," one of the masked figures said. "And Phoenix Celestial is claiming all the glory."

Another, more imposing figure leaned forward. "What of Drakos and his squad? They were supposed to bring us the fruit."

"They failed," came the curt reply.

The imposing figure's voice lowered dangerously. "Then we'll have to take it ourselves. Begin tracking all players involved in the dungeon clearance. Find out who has the fruit."

---

Meanwhile, in a smaller guild's gathering hall, a player named Joren scowled as he read the names listed in the announcement.

"Aria again," he muttered. "And that damn Aleman. He's everywhere lately."

A younger player beside him chuckled nervously. "He's making a name for himself, that's for sure. Maybe we should try to recruit him."

"Recruit him?" Joren sneered. "He's clearly aligned with Phoenix Celestial now. No way they'll let him go."

Back in the Throneroom, Aria glanced at August with a softened expression. "We should head to the vault. There's a lot of treasures there, and the timer's still ticking."

August nodded. "Good call. Let's grab what we can."

The group sprinted to the side corridor leading to the vault. Inside, they were greeted by the glittering sight of gold, rare materials, and weapons.

"By the gods…" Viora whispered. "This is incredible."

"Don't just stand there gawking," Aria urged. "We've only got—"

"Thirty seconds!" she exclaimed.

The group scrambled to grab as much as they could. August, careful not to seem too greedy, picked up a few valuable items and pocketed them discreetly.

Lilo darted from pile to pile like a whirlwind, grabbing whatever caught her eye, while Gareth carefully inspected a rare shield before nodding in satisfaction and taking it.

"Fifteen seconds!" Torin shouted.

Drask groaned as he lifted a heavy chest onto his back. "Don't rush me, ranger!"

"Ten seconds," Viora called, clutching a glowing staff. "We have to move!"

As the timer hit its final countdown, the vault began to shimmer with the telltale glow of a teleportation spell.

The group vanished from the dungeon, reappearing in the vast, open expanse of No Man's Wasteland. The skies were still dark but the environment was better compared to the dim, oppressive atmosphere of the dungeon.

"Finally!" Lilo exclaimed before collapsing onto the ground dramatically. "We're out! We survived!"

"Barely," Gareth grumbled, glancing at the loot they had managed to take. "But it was worth it."

Aria glanced at August, her brows furrowing slightly. "You're quiet. Everything okay?"

August forced a small smile. "Yeah. Just… tired."

"Understandable," Viora said kindly. "We've been at this for two weeks."

"At least we finally cleared it..." August muttered with a look of gladness.

A group of Phoenix Celestial players on No Man's Wasteland gathered around August and the others as they were still processing the achievement.

"That was incredible! You guys really pulled it off!" one of the guild members exclaimed, clapping Gareth on the back.

"We're heading to the guild estate to celebrate!" another chimed in, visibly excited. "The higher-ups are waiting to meet the team behind the success."

A higher-ranking member, clad in a battle mage outfit with a level 45 displayed above his head, stepped forward. "Aria, you and your team are expected at the guild's celebration hall. The vice leader herself may make an appearance."

This stirred excitement among the party, especially Lilo, who clasped her hands together. "The Ice Queen? I've always wanted to meet her! This is going to be so cool!"
