I Am A Notorious Hidden Boss In The Alternate World

Chapter 138 - How Much For The Flowers?

"This…"

Reagan Declan stared hard at the martial art manual for a moment before inquiring with surprise, "Are you giving this to me to train exclusively, or can I also let the others practice this martial art, boss?"

"Naturally, everyone can practice Jeet Kune Do. I'm handing it over to you because you are the most suitable candidate," Albion explained before handing out a few more martial art manuals.

"Boss is the best!"

"Long live the boss!"

The gang members cheered after receiving the three other martial art manuals from their boss before they quickly skimmed through the manuals with excitement.

"Slaughtering Chicken Knife Technique, Serpent Sword Scripture, and Tiger Fist Canon? These names are quite ordinary…!" Billy commented before his eyes suddenly widened in shock, "Heavens, these are all Earth-grade Martial Arts!"

"Earth-grade Martial Arts?!" Another gang member exclaimed with great shock before suddenly asking, "…What is Earth-grade Martial Arts?"

Albion and the surrounding gang immediately staggered before Meng Yan raised his hand and gave the shocked gang member a smack on the back of the head.

Smack!

"Ugh—!" The gang member grunted before turning to face Meng Yan with confusion, "Why did you hit, Brother Yan?"

"Not only did I hit you, but I will also beat you up!" Meng Yan spouted aggressively but did not follow through with his words.

He was only scaring the person.

"If you don't know what Earth-grade Martial Arts is, then why are you so shocked for?!" Meng Yan reprimanded.

"Oh…" The gang member scratched his head awkwardly, "I didn't know what it is, but it sounded amazing, so I couldn't help becoming shocked…"

"…"

Everyone was speechless.

Shortly after, Meng Yan proceeded to explain patiently, "Martial Arts are divide into different grades based on the quality of the technique and how far one can reach in practicing them."

"Mortal-grade Martial Arts are the lowest, while Earth-grade Martial Arts are one grade higher than Mortal-grade Martial Arts. People who practice Earth-grade Martial Arts can reach the Initiate Realm and become Martial Art Masters."

For Mortal-grade Martial Arts, the peak of Foundation Realm was their limit.

"Wow, doesn't that mean we can all become Martial Arts Masters in the future?!" The gang member excitedly said before asking, "What's higher than Earth-grade Martial Arts, Brother Yan?"

"Above Earth-grade Martial Arts are Mystic-grade Martial Arts and Heaven-grade Martial Arts. Mystic-grade Martial Arts can be practiced to the Innate Realm, becoming Martial Art Grandmasters."

"As for Heaven-grade Martial Arts, they can be trained to the legendary Spirit Transformation Realm. People who reached this realm are all considered transcendent beings," Meng Yan explained while the other gang members all listened with rapt attention.

"Amazing! Brother Yan knows so much about martial arts!" A gang member praised.

But rather than feeling smug, Meng Yan responded with a self-deprecating smile, "So what if I know a lot? What's the point of knowing if you cannot practice them? It will only make you depressed. It's the same as seeing but can't touch."

"But now we have Earth-grade Martial Arts! We can all become Martial Art Masters in the future!" A blue-capped gang member spoke optimistically.

"Right! What are we still waiting for? Let us start practicing already!"

Everyone was eager to learn.

Albion shook his head with a wry smile as he watched the gang members all get excited over Earth-grade Martial Arts.

'One man's trash is another man's treasure, huh?' Albion silently thought with amusement.

In the Dark Emperor's spare time, he would modify all sorts of martial arts and cultivation techniques as part of his hobby

As such, Earth-grade martial art manuals were the lowest grade that Albion could find inside his Ashura Ring.

"Alright, you all take your time learning. I'm leaving."

Everyone was preoccupied with the Earth-grade martial art manuals, but once Albion spoke about leaving, he immediately captured all their attention.

"Where are you going, boss?" Ah Zhen quickly asked.

"I am going to…" Albion suddenly paused for a moment before he responded with a fist-on-palm gesture, "Right, intel. I am going to gather intel."

"Really?"

"Of course!"

The gang members expressed their doubts in the gazes before Albion snappishly said, "What are you all looking at?! If you are so free, then put some extra efforts into practicing the Earth-grade martial art manuals I gave you!"

"Y-Yes, boss!"

"Hmph!" Albion snorted.

Shortly after leaving the abandoned gym, Albion frowned before pulling out his smartphone that began vibrating nonstop with many missed calls.

Among several familiar names, there were also a bunch of unknown numbers.

"Dafuq? Why are there so many unknown numbers?" Albion's lips twitched.

The number of unknown numbers was more than twice the number of contacts he actually saved on his phone!

Suddenly, an 8-year old little boy carrying a basket of flowers ran past and bumped into Albion before falling over and dropping everything along with Albion's phone.

Crack!

The phone's screen immediately shattered into a thousand fragments upon contact with the hard ground, causing Ablion's expression to become stiff with a dark look.

'Dammit, I knew I should have gotten a phonecase and screen protector!'

He did not even own the phone for a week—no, not even half a week! And yet, the screen was already cracked!

"Oi, oi, watch where you're going, you little shi—"

Albion was ready to reprimand the little boy when he suddenly noticed many bruises on the child's body before his expression changed, ending his short fit of annoyance.

"Ahem!" Albion coughed before asking, "Are you alright, kid? Do you need help?"

"I'm fine!" The little boy glared.

Shortly after the little boy quickly placed the flowers back in the basket, he gave Albion another hard glare before scurrying off with a gloomy look.

'The f*ck, man?'

Albion was taken aback.

The kid was the one who bumped into him and broke his phone screen, so what right did the kid have to be so mad at him for?!

Albion trembled slightly with irritation before quickly pulling the little boy up by the collar until their eyes met.

"Now you listen here, you little shi—"

*Gasp*

"Oh my! Is that person going to beat up that little boy?"

"It sure looks like it! Haiz, youngsters these days have no morals!"

"Quick, call the cops or something before that little boy gets hurt!"

The voices of nearby middle-aged women and grandmas quickly entered Albion's ears before his lips twitched again while his gloomy eyes shortly fell on the flower basket.

"You… How much for the flowers?"
