Human King

Chapter 201: Blood

Chapter 201: Blood

"What the..." Papi murmured as he looked at the blood-red sky.

However, he soon felt that the blood was about to come down, which is why he thought of ways to get out of here.

After all, the blood was just that thick, and Papi didn't want to drown in it. What's more, Papi knew that there would also be bones of monsters or something like that that could cause harm to them.

And the thing that Papi thought of that could help them escape from this situation is Mabi's speed, which is why he whipped his head towards Mabi as he decided.

He spoke with a loud voice as he shouted at Mabi, "Mabi!" He said, and that was all Papi said.

And it seems that Mabi was able to understand what Papi wanted to say as Mabi turned his body around as some sort of light soon enshrouded his two legs as he used his powers.

He used his powers to make sure that he would be able to run faster than the blood and whatever they were would fall down on the ground.

Mabi then proceeded to kick off the ground powerfully as he spread his arms! He spread his arms as he began to took off with Papi in his arms.

Right, this was Papi's plan to get away from this place; to have Mabi carry him away from this place and run at his full speed.

Even though Papi knew that he wouldn't be able to endure Mabi's running speed, it would be a small price to pay if it would mean that he would live.

And Mabi knew that very well, which is why he was currently running at his full speed as he continuously kicked off the ground powerfully.

His steps left behind cracks that formed on the ground, but that was not important at all as the blood...started to rain down on the ground.

No...it was much more ferocious and fierce than that as it would probably better to call it a wave!

Right, the wave started to flood down the forest, and it didn't spare anyone at all, even the corpses of the monsters that Dawn has killed!

After all, Dawn was the cause of this blood raining down on the ground, which is why it was only normal that not even the corpses would be spared from this.

However, that was not all as the blood started to go in every direction.

Towards the south, east, west, and north, the blood began to ravish the forest as if it was the only thing it had in mind.

Well, it was only because this place couldn't contain the amount of blood, and because of Dawn's strength that pushed them away.

Right, it was all because of Dawn's strength that things happened like this.

And the one who was the cause of all this disaster, Dawn...he was just currently running away from the wave as far as he could as he knew that he would be soon caught up if he dared slack.

And while he was running away from the wave of blood that he caused, Dawn was currently making sure that he would find the goblins that ran away from the battle.

Dawn was sure that none of them would have tried to went back to save him as he was the one who gave the order to make sure that they would only run.

That was why Dawn was currently using his senses to try and find the other goblins who were able to run away.

He was covering this whole place as he just focused on running away from the blood.

It was amazing considering that Dawn was able to use his senses to find the goblins and also be able to focus on running away.

Of course, it was just not that hard for Dawn who already mastered how to control his senses.

Dawn focused on finding the goblins so that he would be able to retreat with them. If he would be able to retreat with them, it would be much better.

However, what Dawn really wanted to have in this situation was to regroup with them.

Dawn and the other goblins...now that the situation escalated up to this point, there might be a situation or some case that Dawn could use to strike back against the hyenas.

There might be something that the goblins could do to take advantage of this situation.

That was why Dawn wanted to find the goblins as soon as possible while the blood was still making a mess out of things in the forest right now.

And it seems that luck was on the side of Dawn as he could now feel a presence similar to him.

A presence similar to him means that it would be a goblin, and that was why...as soon as he felt that it was another goblin, Dawn disappeared into that direction.

Dawn was so fast that it would be correct to say that he was running at the same speed that Mabi was right now.

And that was why he was able to reach the place where he could feel the goblins were staying, and as soon as he reached this place, he whipped his head here and there as he used his senses to feel the goblins once more to try and find them.

However, it seems that Dawn didn't have to do something like that anymore as a voice resounded out in this place.

And what that voice said was, "King!"

And when Dawn heard that, he quickly whipped his head in the direction where the voice came from.

And as soon as he did, he soon saw Didi and the other goblins standing on top of some trees.

"Oho, you were able to recognize me even though my body is currently like this." Dawn said as he looked at his goblins with a satisfied look on his face.

After all, they were able to recognize him even though his body was currently black right now.

Even though going from white to black was just a simple change, it wasn't really as it changes his appearance.

What's more, these goblins that were with Dawn right now were accustomed to his white skin.

Being able to recognize that the black goblin in front of them was their king was truly remarkable for Dawn.

However, it was not something to fawn over right now as the situation was urgent, which is why Dawn spoke as he jumped up to one of the trees where the goblins were currently standing.

And as soon as Dawn reached the top of the tree, he spoke as he looked at Didi.

"Did someone else die other from the ones that the hyena was able to kill?" Dawn said.

Dawn wanted to know this information since it would be better to know this earlier.

What's more, this was something that would definitely affect Dawn's decision of striking back in this situation or to just retreat.

After all, even Dawn won't just attack the hyenas with just 20 goblins or so.

Dawn could also feel that...although he killed a lot of monsters in the process of running away from the monsters and taking advantage of the perception slow down thingy, he knew that there were still a lot more monsters.

It wasn't something that Dawn could just deny, which is why he wanted to know if there were some other goblins who died while running away from the monsters.

"Yes, king. There were quite a few goblins who died while running away from the monsters, and the number would be...5 goblins, king."

Didi said as he looked down as he felt shame for letting goblins die on his watch.

Well, there was nothing he could do as he had no control over that situation.

Even Dawn had to let other goblins die when Mabi was chasing them.

"Hmm, so there would be around 45 goblins." Dawn murmured as he tried to make some calculations in his mind.

45 goblins are close to their original number, which is something that Dawn was happy about. What's more, it means that 45 goblins survived and ran away from that disaster.

If Dawn decides to just retreat and get away from this place, this would mean that 45 goblins would be coming with him.

However, that was not the point of this whole sneaky sneaky attack on the rulers of the southeast of the forest.

They were here to kill them; not to run away from them. Since that was their goal, Dawn was really contemplating continuing the attack on the rulers.

After all, it would be a waste of time if they just ran away right now and just go back to the village.

But...the situation has changed and they couldn't continue the sneaky attack, which is the factor that Dawn was thinking of relying on so that they would be able to attack the rulers of the southeast of the forest.

---Hmmm...this is hard.

Dawn thought as it was getting harder to decide right now about this whole situation and what he should do.
