Chapter 2416 Space

Chapter 2416  Space

Norbert looked at Fang Heng and suddenly had a terrifying thought.

Fang Heng...

Could it be that he wasn't satisfied with absorbing the aura here and wanted to go into the death knight's space to absorb even more?

Once this thought arose, it couldn't be stopped.

D*mn it!

But what could he do?

If Fang Heng really entered the death knight space, what would happen next was beyond his control!

Norbert felt extremely uneasy.

Unbeknownst to Norbert, Fang Heng was focused on drawing the magic array.

He had no idea about the strength of the undead faction outside and how long they could hold off the Holy Court.

So he had to work quickly!

At least for now, there had been no hint of pursuers from the Holy Realm descending.

As long as they didn't face the Holy Realm's pursuers directly, it wouldn't be a big problem.

Fang Heng, with his master-level spatial science, had a strong grasp of spatial understanding, and coupled with high-tier alchemy, modifying the magic array was not too difficult.

In just about twenty minutes, Norbert watched as Fang Heng created a very complex medium-sized magic array beside the sealing stone pillar.

[Hint: The player completed the custom magic array creation.]

Fang Heng gave the magic array one last examination, stood up, and patted his pants.

"Done? Is it done?"

Norbert's voice trembled with tension.

"Yes, more or less."

Fang Heng said as he touched the edge of the magic array and infused it with his mental strength.

"Whoosh!"

The magic array began to spin rapidly.

Meanwhile, a faint glow emerged from the blue-black space within the breach of the sealing stone pillar.

"It seems it worked."

Seeing the blue light, Fang Heng knew his magic array had been successfully activated. He turned to Tan Shuo and Li Shaoqiang and asked, "What about you two? Will you come in with me or stay here?"

They looked at the space at the center of the sealing stone pillar, exchanged glances, and shook their heads, replying, "Forget it, we'll stay outside and keep an eye on things."

"Alright then."

Fang Heng didn't press them further. He took a small grain-sized piece of energy ore from his backpack and placed it on the magic array to power it. He then advised, "The magic array will last a long time. If any emergency arises, come into the space to find me."

"Fang Heng!" As Fang Heng was about to enter the death knight's space, Norbert quickly reached out to stop him. "Wait!"

Fang Heng slowly turned his head and looked at Norbert.

"What is it?"

"This, this... Fang Heng, you should be coming out soon, right?" Norbert scrambled for reasons to persuade Fang Heng to stay but couldn't come up with anything coherent. He stammered, "The undead instructors outside might not hold up much longer. We might soon destroy the entire passage, and if that happens..."

"I understand. Don't wait for me. If it comes to that, just destroy the sealing stone pillar as planned."

As Fang Heng spoke, his form gradually became ethereal in the air and then, with a whoosh, vanished from sight.

It's over.

Norbert watched Fang Heng step into the death knight's space, his face turning ashen.

No.

There might still be a chance.

Given the circumstances, there was nothing left to do but let Fang Heng enter the special space of the death knight.

Perhaps when he came out, the Holy Court's team would arrive just in time.

Yes! There might still be a chance!

...

Outside the Tower of Bones, the Purifiers from the Holy Realm were unaware that Fang Heng had entered the death knight space through the homemade magic array. They were still focused on constructing the sealing magic array.

As the holy light gradually faded, the undead faction finally realized something was amiss.

How strange!

Why was there a holy ripple emanating from inside the Tower of Bones!?

The undead faction immediately dispatched personnel to investigate.

It was only at this point that several deputy tower masters of the Tower of Bones realized that the Holy Court had already occupied the Tower of Bones.

Everyone's expression turned grim.

However, two of the deputy tower masters were quite puzzled.

If the Holy Court had the capability to invade the city, why not attack the more critical mage towers and energy crystal towers within the city?

Instead, they targeted the Tower of Bones?

It was truly baffling.

There was nothing in the Tower of Bones that would warrant such an extensive infiltration effort from the Holy Court.

They even thought it might make more sense for the Holy Court to focus on the Frost Hell instead.

"Could it be that there is a death knight sealed in the Tower of Bones, and their target is that?"

"That's impossible."

A sealed death knight space?

What would the Holy Court want with that?

"The Holy Court must have some sort of scheme. We need to find a way to stop them, no matter what!"

"Yes!"

The undead faction quickly organized reinforcements to provide support.

Meanwhile, Fang Heng stepped into the special space.

Hints rapidly appeared on his retina.

[Hint: The player has completed the scattered secrets of the current mission.]

[Hint: The player has entered a special space-Subspace barrier (Projection).]

Space barrier?

Is this a special space constructed by special means?

Fang Heng's vision gradually adjusted as he began to survey his surroundings.

He was enveloped by a dense darkness, with the thick fog filled with an incredibly potent undead aura!

The intensity was amplified hundreds of times compared to what was felt outside!

Perfect!

Fang Heng's thoughts raced as he looked up towards a high point in the distance.

There, faint glimmers of light emerged.

Atop a high throne sat a knight clad in armor, surveying the surroundings from his elevated position like a king.

A death knight!

Fang Heng's pupils contracted sharply.

The death knight was enormous, even larger than the Tyrant he had fused with. The aura emanating from him was a combination of death aura and frost aura.

His level of power was formidable!

"Whoosh!!"

The knight's eyes glowed with a blue light.

Simultaneously, the death knight's frost long sword emitted a faint hum.

"Boom!"

A wave of energy combining frost and death aura burst forth, rapidly spreading outwards!

Seeing the visible aura approaching, Fang Heng immediately raised his hands in front of him to shield him from the impact.

"Bang!!!" n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Even a mere unconscious strike held such power.

However...

Fang Heng took a few steps back to absorb the impact, lowered his hands, and looked up at the death knight on the throne.

This suggested that the death knight might not fully control his own power.

"Young man," the death knight on the throne spoke, looking down at Fang Heng, "State your purpose!"

Fang Heng furrowed his brow and did not immediately answer. Instead, he observed carefully.

It was peculiar.

The death knight did not appear to be imprisoned as reported from outside.

Seeing that Fang Heng did not answer, the death knight did not press, merely sitting in his lofty position, looking down with an air of superiority.

After a moment, Fang Heng spoke up, "I'd like to know, what can I do for you?"
