Chapter 145 Razor
Roland shook his head as he began to walk away. No one dared to stop him this time, afraid that they would end up the same as Kyle.
In fact, Roland was aware of Kyle and Bryan's powers inside the school. He knew that from now on, he would probably be pressured or even punished by the teachers for every unknown reason just so they could curry favor with this brats' parents.
However, Roland already expected this from the start, and hence he was not afraid of it.
Consequences? It was only for the weak.
If one wanted to, they could even evade going to jail as long as they have the right money and influence.
If he showed off his current asset to the school committee, Roland was sure that they would immediately side with him.
However, Roland doesn't plan to do that. At least not for now. After all, it won't be fun if he could no longer earn face-slapping points inside the school in the future.
Roland preferred to take it slowly.
Sooner or later, everything will fall into his hands.
But for now, he must attend the grand opening of the Sparkling Buds first.
Ignoring the awe of his classmates from behind him, Roland walked forward towards the gate without looking back.
Bryan stared at Roland's departing figure while gnashing his teeth.
He was actually the one who ordered Kyle to intercept Roland earlier, as a revenge for embarrassing them earlier, as well as to confirm whether Roland was truly as strong as he imagined it to be.
Seeing Kyle fail miserably in front of everyone, Bryan also felt that he was the one who failed to stop Roland.
However, it was not that this event was truly useless. At least, Bryan confirmed to himself that Roland was truly as strong as he initially thought.
"Roland!" Bryan suddenly shouted upon seeing not trying to look back at all.
Hearing the shout, Roland stopped on his tracks and looked back.
"This is not over between us!" Bryan said as he looked directly at Roland's eyes from afar.
For Bryan, his game with Roland was just starting. He thought that even with the two embarrassment scenes today, he still had not completely lost to Roland yet. After all, even until now, Roland was still unaware of the eventual downfall of his new workplace.
At this point, Bryan was confident that his men must have already blocked that restaurant's business by now. Bryan finally felt good and thought that he was finally above Roland.
Hearing Bryan's remark, Roland thought for a moment before a mischievous grin escaped his mouth.
He turned around and walked away coolly, ignoring everyone's gazes.
Deep inside him, he actually agreed with Bryan's remark.
'Indeed, this is not over yet. This is just the beginning of your eventual end…' he thought as he walked forward with steady steps.
…
Back at the restaurant, One reported to Stacey what has transpired so far.
The hooligans who were blocking the street on both ends were already subdued.
All of them also did not dare to hide any information and told everything they knew to the demonic Seven and the others.
However, what they knew was very limited, and it looked like the batch of them were only low level goons sent by the other party.
From what they said, they were actually just following the orders of their leader.
They knew that their leader was a ruthless person and that they should have not told Seven and the others. However, they have already learned the hard way that Seven and the others were even more ruthless than their boss as well.
So, they spilled all they knew about their boss as well.
According to them, their boss, or their leader was called Razor due to his crooked teeth. He was also previously a bodyguard of a notable figure in the city and that he had laid low to do dirty things for that notable figure.
After describing Razor's figure in detail, they then began to spill the location of their hideout and how many there were inside next.
After Seven and the others managed to get the information they wanted, they brought and gathered all of them at the back of an abandoned alley as they waited for One's next order.
This time, although they did not manage to locate the real mastermind behind the sabotage, they at least had a lead which was the boss of these hooligans, who was named Razor by the bunch of them.
Stacey frowned after hearing One's report regarding the matter.
At first, she also thought that it was just a bunch of hooligans trying to cause trouble for the newly opened restaurant because they wanted to collect 'protection tax' for them in the future.
However, she realized at this point that this might be bigger than she initially thought.
A notable person in Fore City? An ex-guard? Doing the dirty work for that person? Yes, this was indeed a big matter already.
It looks like their business has been spotted by an influential figure and now they were being targeted even before they could put their foot in the market.
"Let's set this matter aside from now and wait for Roland. Gustav, let your men hand out the flyers again, double time. As long as no one blocks the way, a customer would surely try to get a free meal." She said after thinking it through.
For one thing, she thought that this matter had already escalated even further. This was no longer in the realm where she could decide just on her own. As the owner, Roland deserves to know of this matter as well.
Stacey already has some conjectures about who the real mastermind was, but she did not dare to point fingers yet, lest she was wrong on her assumptions.
Gustav nodded her head with a heavy expression as he took out his phone and communicated with his friends.
At the same time, he could not help but mutter to himself, 'Razor… Is he the same Razor that I know?'
