Chapter 846  Inside The City Once More.

Lenny floated in the air, Judas the wandering city before his eyes. While the world was busy with the chaos of dying demons that had been brought about by the machinations of his own hand, he was bringing the fight to the door step of his enemy. Lenny raised a hand to touch upon the veil that shielded the Wandering city. his hands went through it. the city was obviously there, but an attempt to touch it was like trying to catch the moon in the reflection of a pond. It was just not possible. Lenny took a deep breathe in, and then out again. If he really did not have to do this, then he rather not. But the truth was that he had no choice. He had to do this. The last time he had come for battle in this place before he had time traveled, he had come for war with Victor by his side. Unfortunately, the Victor of the current era was too weak, and too inexperienced to be of any help in a battle of this scale. By his side, riding on the Back of Steal the serpent was none other then Minnie. lenny had thought not to bring her too for the battle, but she had insisted, stating that it was her Fate to be here, and Lenny was going to be needing her help. Although, Lenny did not think so. After all, he had fought in this place before, and knew how the insides of the Wandering city worked. The rules of the sub plane differed from the norm.

Lenny raised a hand and placed it just at the edge, and then he willed some demon blood from within the storage unit. The last time he was here, Coco had told him to will forth Devil blood, stating that the devil blood within the territory would react to his call and give assistance. There was no devil blood to use this time around, but lenny did not think that it was any different. Fortunately, it was not. Lenny poured out Vasts amount of blood on the wall, and in return, Demon blood from Within the territory as if reacting to a magnet rushed forth.

Just as Lenny had done the other time, he quickly waved his hands and Shadow runes appeared on the Blood, sinking into it like a stone in a pond. Instantly, it happened. Like the waves of water acted upon by the wind, the blood shimmered and then, a way was forcefulluy created into the supblane. Till this moment, Lenny did not understand why other runes could not open the way into this subplane but his Shadow runes could. It was as if control with Shadow runes existed on an ethereal level. Lenny thought it incredible to think about. The path had been made open for them. However, before progressing into the subplane, Lenny turned about to Minnie, "try not to do anything stupid. Okay!?" She nodded at him, and the Serpent flew, following Lenny into this world. For Lenny, it was a very Peculiar feeling to be back here, After all, he was backstabbed in this place. And at a time, it had spelled his end. The moment they had entered, the Rings attacked just like they had done the last time. Waves and waves of sound blasts rushed at Lenny and Minnie. However, once beaten twice shy. Unlike the last time, the rings did not have any effect on him. The moment he sensed their attacks, he waved his hand and blood from his storage unit rushed out of his body in a protective shield, and then he waved his hand in an attacking motion.

Lenny did not have any ability that allowed him control blood. But the existing rule of the subplane allowed him command blood that he had authority over. This made it easy for him to control blood like an extension of his body. With a wave of his fingers, some of the blood turned into sharp blades. These Blades were thrown at the Blood rings, and they were instantly destroyed. Lenny's descent into the territory was not obstructed one bit. When Lenny had gone to Visit Governor Momoa, he had used it as an opportunity to harvest the entire blood of every living thing in the city. It was that Blood that he now commanded to do his bidding. The moment he got into the territory, lenny did not wait to admire the place. There was no need. After all, he had come to fell it to its knees. He turned a particular direction and sped through the air, following the same path that Coco had dictated for him the last time he was here. Lenny's aim was to get to the heart of the subplane. It was that simple. meanwhile, Baroness Everbee had noticed the entry into her territory. And when she had checked, she was surprsied to see the silhouette of a very familiar person. Meanwhile, Lenny like bullet shot out of a gun raced through the sky, until he reached the nearest demon town. Unlike the last time that they moved with much caution. Lenny went straight for the goal. However, on getting here, it was not the familiar town that they had seen before that greeted his eyes. Rather it was something else entirely. The last time he was here, this was a demon town, with demons living their daily lives in peace and worship of the Asmodeus Family. However what was now before his eyes was practically an industrialized age town. Lenny frowned at this. He knew that things would not exactly be as it was ten years from now. But this one was not a change he was expecting...
