Conquering His Cold Heart

Chapter 352 - 352 Isolated Cabin

352 Isolated Cabin

“Mr. Herald!” The woman behind the counter gave a smile to the gentleman clad in a black overcoat, a nice black hat, and sunglass. And she greeted him in the sweetest voice as always, “Are you ready to head out?” she asked the man while her eyes trailed at his gorgeous blond hair and his flawless face.

Herald gave a nod and then said with a smile, “Yes, Mrs. Green. I am afraid that I am checking out for good today.”

A hint of sadness lingered on Mrs. Green’s face. But she quickly covered it up with a smile and asked, “Checking out until you check in the next time, am I right?”

Harold gave an enchanting smirk to the lady, almost making her wish that she wasn’t already married to her mediocre-looking husband. He slightly leaned in on the counter and said as he placed his arm on it, “I am not planning on visiting again. But you know I won’t go anywhere else if I come to this town again.”

Mrs. Green looked a little flustered when she heard that comment from that stunning gentleman who had been frequenting her guesthouse for quite a while now.

She lowered her gaze from him and slightly nodded her head in response. “Yes. You are my most loyal customer after all,” she softly mumbled as she began to calculate the money that the gentleman owed her for her services.

And while calculating, she couldn’t help but ask, “Do you have a favorite dining place around here? I never got to prepare any dishes for you during your stay here.” She slightly raised her head to peep at the man’s face.

Harold grinned. His canines were unusually sharper. “I will make sure to taste your cooking if I come here the next time,” he said so as to keep the lady’s heart.

“I’m sure you will visit us very soon.” Mrs. Green smiled at the gentleman with confidence because he had visited the guesthouse within a week when he had said that he wasn’t coming back the last time he checked out.

.....

She then cleared her throat and said, “That will be five gold coins, Mr. Herald. But since you are now our loyal guest, I will give you a discount. So, four gold coins, please.”

Herald slightly lifted his hat to show his gratitude and then paid the said coins to the lady. He gave a wave to her and said before leaving, “Take care, Mrs. Green.”

“You too, Mr. Herald.”

He heard the lady’s voice as he stepped out of the guesthouse’s door.

The sweet smile on his face and that innocent aura around him suddenly vanished the moment he stepped out. It was replaced by an aloof expression and a dangerous aura.

Avoiding all the invites that he got from the eager coachmen, he made his way out of the town really quickly. And once he reached the area which was relatively far from the town, he looked around to make sure that there was no one around.

He heaved a sigh and thought, ‘I better take a run for a while.’

And just like that, he vanished out of sight in no time.

It was already dusk by the time he reached the nice, isolated cabin that was located in the middle of the forest.

Before he could reach the porch of the house, a beautiful lady with voluptuous red hair and gorgeous wine-red eyes opened the door. She welcomed that man with a bright smile and greeted him with a passionate kiss.

He instantly threw the suitcase that he was carrying to the floor and lifted the woman in his arms. He rushed inside the room and slammed his wife’s back against the wall.

The woman took off his sunglass and tossed them aside. She looked into his crimson-red eyes and smirked at him. And she said in a seductive whisper, “Calm down, love. Or else you are going to tear down our house.”

His lips curved up to form a lustful smile and he whispered with his rugged breath, “It will be worth it, Liana.”

And he immediately bore out his fangs to sink them into his wife’s neck as if he was greatly hungry.

“Aah!” Liana arched her back and moaned as loudly as she could. Tears of pleasure rolled down her temple as her husband kept on draining her blood.

And just when he was about to slide his hand under her dress, she pushed his hat off of his head and grabbed him by his hair. She pulled his head back with a jerk of her hand, quite aggressively, and tore off the first few buttons of his white shirt with a tug.

She licked her husband’s lips which were still laced with her blood, and instantly, she protruded her fangs in excitement.

“Mmh!” he moaned as a surge of pleasure ran throughout his veins. And he couldn’t wait but pin his wife down on the bed. He sat on top of his wife’s thighs and gazed at the beauty that his wife was.

“So flawless…” he whispered in appreciation. He especially looked at the red wavy hair of his wife that he always treasured.

Liana smiled gratefully and said as she pulled her husband down while tugging his overcoat, “All thanks to you, my love.”

He looked at her plump lips very longingly and immediately went in to devour her like the beast that he was. “You were always beautiful,” he pulled away from her lips and uttered near her ear in his deep rugged voice.

And he further added, “I wish I had returned as soon as I finished tying up the loose ends. I missed you so much.”

“Mhmm…” Liana whispered as she pressed her husband’s face into her neck. She arched her back and moaned in satisfaction when he began kissing her all over her neck. She greatly missed being pampered by her husband even though it had only been a few days since she last saw him.

And when he came in to kiss her on her lips again, she cupped her husband’s beautiful face and whispered as she looked into his crimson eyes, “I missed you so much, dear Percival. I missed you too.”
