Back For My Daughter

Chapter 1279: Jia's Father Lives in Yuan Meng's house?

Yuan Meng, who was simply munching on her food smiled seeing the astounded look on Miss Jhang's face.

It almost looked as if the woman had seen a ghost and couldn't believe that what was before her eyes was even true or not.

"Then is Miss Yuan also married?"

Although it was somewhat possible that her question might make Yuan Meng slightly annoyed according to her, but she had to ask since there were some women who won't find a partner even after getting to her current age.

"Hmm."

Yuan Meng shook her bead before gulping her morsel.

"Ahh, I am sorry, I didn't mean any disrespect."

Thinking that her question might have irritated her, Miss Jhang apologized.

"Hehe, miss Jhang, you don't need to actually, I am not only married, but my daughter is also just a year older than Sister Wei's daughter, Jia. In fact, the two went to kindergarten together just last year, and if not for the gap, the two would not have been separated."

Yuan Meng smiled.

It was true that back when Little Qiqi started going to her kindergarten, it was Jia who would always be with her, be it during their lunch breaks, or after they were released, the two would then later on go to the old age home where the two would play, study and most importantly, get lots of delicious treats and love till their mothers came back to receive them.

Of course, after the change in the schools after Little Jia ascended to the first grade, and since it was just about an hour or more for Ning Wei to also get free, it was determined that it was better for the little girl to go directly to home since her school was also close to their housing.

This all made everyone, especially, Little Qiqi and the old people in the old age home sad, although the two girls were childish, just as their ages suggested, Little Jia was much mature and won't too fun-seeking and boisterous like Little Qiqi, making her soon become the apple of the eye of all the ladies in the old age home, while Little Qiqi joined the squad of the old men.

Because as everyone knows, no matter the age, men act childish.

Of course, during holidays when Ning Wei would have a day off, she get Jia and go meet all the grandpas and grandmas from old age home for a few hours before going to Yuan Meng so that they could get the little girls to a park nearby.

There was shock written on Miss Jhang's face for a moment before she understood everything and then let out a sigh.

"The two little ones should be very close."

Hearing this, both Yuan Meng and Ning Wei nodded in agreement.

"But does this make them sad?"

Miss Jhang asked, but a moment later she specified.

"I mean not being able to meet each other now that they rarely get time to meet each other."

Being a mother of a boy who was in grade 7th, she was well aware as to how a child's schedule would chance after they went from kindergarten to the first grade.

Understanding what she really meant, both the two ladies before her shook their heads before smiling while Ning Wei began.

"Although I the two were when they were separated but since the last couple of weeks, they are not."

"Huh?" Miss Jhang looked at the two in confusion, not really getting what she meant.

"Actually, Sister Wei and Jia stay with us, so now we are a big family and the girls just have to way for some time before they all get together and then do their homework after meeting their grandpas and grandmas."

"Ohh, so is this why both of you have the same lunch?"

Miss Jhang muttered.

Ning Wei nodded, "Hmm, it was Jia's Papa that cooked and grandmother who cooked all this."

Of course, the two women had also helped them with other things, but since the two were in kitchen, they won't let them join, especially if it was Grandma Yan, who won't even let Yuan Meng cook in her presence, much less Ye Qian.

But since the little girls ate a lot of what her son cooked, Grandma Yan felt that it was good that everyone would have a good breakfast and food for lunch.

"Ohh."

Miss Jhang nodded, but in her mind many questions were popping up.

'Why does Miss Ning's husband stay in Miss Yuan's home, doesn't this seem bad?'

But thinking that asking this might irritate them or sour their relation, she didn't voice and continued to have the lunch while Ning Wei talked to her about her son's studies.

Of course, being a teacher herself, Miss Jhang had taken care of her son's studies well which elicited good impression on Ning Wei since Jhang Feng was good at studies and also other academics.

Meanwhile, in the Sunflower Kindergarten.

Teacher Wu, class teacher of Senior KG, Wu Ying was reciting a poem which she had promised to do a few days ago but wasn't able to due to her cousin's sudden accident.

"Now that we are done with the poem, I want to tell you all something."

The class filled with little ones who were grinning after learning a new poem while some were yawning since this was already the last class turned their attention back to the teacher.

It had been more than 5 minutes since she had taught them the poem and was just giving them some simple tasks till the bell for their release would ring.

"Huh?"

A small slightly skinny girl who sat in the second row had her brows raised high as she asked.

"Teacher Wu, is it about why you didn't come that day to teach us poem?"

There were not more than 20 children in the class room with 5 horizontal rows, each consisting of 4 students.

"Yes, Qiqi, this is about that."

The teacher Wu nodded and smiled wryly as she breathed out a deep sigh.
