In the pitch-black night sky, the Cold Moon Bone Dragon, carrying the piercing cold wind, plummeted toward the Si Family man like a white streak of lightning.

Its entire body of bone gleamed with a cold light under the moon,

Behind the Si Family man, a green poisonous snake suddenly struck, baring its ferocious maw and spraying a thick cloud of venom.

This cloud of venom swiftly diffused in the night sky, forming a green haze in an attempt to block the Cold Moon Bone Dragon's assault.

However, the massive frame of the Cold Moon Bone Dragon charged through the poison mist as if it were nothing.

The bone white skeleton on its body seemed to possess a magical power, completely immune to the surrounding venom, not even leaving a trace of corrosion.

Its claws, as if forged from steel, seized the poisonous snake protecting the Si Family man.

With a violent clench of its five claws, the snake's body was instantly twisted as if it was a rag rung out of water.

Under immense pressure, the snake's scales shattered, and red blood spurted out from the cracks, forming a tragically beautiful rain of blood that spilled onto the ground with a splattering noise.

After the death of two more Beast Taming creatures, the Si Family man continued to summon the remaining two of his beasts.

But these creatures were clearly not cultivated enough and were no match for the green python, as the Bone Dragon swiped them away with a mere flick of its claws, crushing them to death.

"Don't kill me, I...,"

Before he could finish his sentence, the Cold Moon Bone Dragon slammed its claw down, grinding him into a pulp.

"Won't there be any trouble?" Han Yuning whispered.

She and Chen Xing could simply walk away after killing someone.

But Ling Yin was a local, with family also in the area.

"I've heard of this guy; it's Si He from the Si Family, jealous and petty, poor character," Ling Yin said, "Since he's offended us, might as well finish him off, especially since he was the first to attack."

Seeing the concern in the team leader's eyes, Ling Yin smiled, "Don't worry, there will be no trouble. The Si Family and our clan have had conflicts for a long time, so this isn't going to make much of a difference. But as for you who are from out of town, if someone focuses on you, it could mean more trouble."

"How are you planning to deal with the surrounding Beast Tamers?" Ling Yin asked Chen Xing and the others for their opinion.

"What do you think?" Han Yuning asked for Chen Xing's opinion.

Chen Xing looked at them in surprise, for his beasts were already dispatched; still, they were asking for his decision.

Do I look like someone with a saintly attitude?

"You shouldn't be able to act so recklessly within the city, right?" Chen Xing asked.

"You can't act recklessly within the Giant City."

"That's why I had Sìxiàng block the exit," Chen Xing said with a kind smile on his face.

He wasn't some pushover, and perhaps due to his experiences in the Illusion Realm's battlefield, Chen Xing had become more open-minded.

Since those Beast Tamers had made their choice as adults, they would have to pay for it.

Following their master's command, Sìxiàng had already gone after those Beast Tamers. After evolving, Sìxiàng's speed was too fast,

even the naked eye couldn't capture it.

Chen Xing understood; no wonder Beast Tamers sought for Transcendence. If a Beast Tamer couldn't surmount their own limits, unable to even clearly see their beast's movements, how could they command in battle?

You can't possibly imagine a beast with the power to move mountains to be as slow as the second-hand Alto the three big guys from the next village had just bought.

"Well, that's good. I was worried you might hesitate to take action," Han Yuning nodded.

"Such an endearing personality," Ling Yin said with a smile.

"That reminds me of when we first went exploring with the captain. Once we were ambushed, and the man begged for mercy afterward. The captain let them go out of pity, but the next day they came back with even more reinforcements seeking revenge, and we were chased down for a while," Ling Yin looked provocatively at Han Yuning.

"Everybody has their youthful days," Han Yuning said nonchalantly.

The two also sent out their beasts to pursue the remaining Beast Tamers.

"Wait... haven't you noticed something wrong with the sky?" Ling Yin looked up.

"Where?"

"The evolution ceremony has already ended," Ling Yin murmured, her gaze drifting involuntarily towards the dense clouds that still lingered, "But these clouds haven't dispersed. It can't be that there's more to the ceremony, can it?" A sense of unease crept in her mind.

"Don't jinx it!" Han Yuning's face changed color.

For the clouds in the sky were becoming visibly denser at an alarming rate, churning and spreading like an invisible behemoth awakening, slowly enveloping the entire sky.

The once bright world seemed to be dragged into an endless darkness at that moment.

Suddenly, one pair, two pairs, three pairs... countless crimson eyes slowly opened within the clouds, densely packed in the darkness, like stars in the night sky.

Those eyes stared down intently as if searching for something.

Feeling their gaze, an intense discomfort washed over everyone beneath them.

It was as if being watched by some ferocious beast.

In a distant building, Sìxiàng smashed through the wall, its five claws clamping down on the crown of a Bright Candle Lion's head.

Sìxiàng looked at it coldly; it had been one of the Beast Tamers that had just attacked him.

But now, trembling violently, it bore no trace of its earlier arrogance.

"Look at me!"

Sìxiàng lowered his head, his eyes intently fixed on the other's.

The Bright Candle Lion's eyes widened as it stared back at Sìxiàng, as if it saw a red door slowly opening...

"Dark Realm Judgment!"

Nine crimson chains emerged from the void, plunging into its body.

The chains pierced through its fur, leaving no mark on the surface, but penetrated deep into its body.

Accompanied by the creaking and turning of the chains, they slowly retracted, extracting the soul from the nearly within reach Bright Candle Lion.

The extracted soul was numb, rigid, lifeless.

Finally, it was entirely devoured by the red door.

From behind the door came faint crushing sounds, like the chewing of some dreadful creature.

A Beast Tamer pressed against the wall not far ahead, shaking like a leaf. He feigned composure, but the instinctive fear of death made his body tremble uncontrollably.

Sìxiàng strode toward him, his towering figure looking down from above.

Without exchanging words, he clenched his five claws and threw a punch.

The wall now bore a grotesque mural of flesh and blood.

He had just stepped out of the building when a voice suddenly reached his ears.

"Hey, I've finally found you."

Sìxiàng raised his head only to see the sky above full of dense, crimson eyes.

His form blurred, then he vanished from the spot.

The crimson eyes within the dark clouds above gradually disappeared as if they had found their target.

After about half an hour, the dark clouds dispersed, but a black figure descended from the sky.

The trio looked up guardedly, but as the figure drew closer,

they finally recognized the newcomer.

The expression on Han Yuning's face shifted subtly. Falling from the sky was Sìxiàng, who had just completed his evolution.

"Master," Sìxiàng landed and Chen Xing asked why he had descended from the sky.

Sìxiàng told his master that a mysterious entity had summoned him; he could not see its true form, only the numerous red eyes amidst the dense black fog around it.

The entity had given him a key.

While saying so, Sìxiàng lifted his shoulder to reveal, from beneath the thick feathers, an additional blood-red eye.

"With this key, I now have the power to enter the Dark Realm at will, and I can even take others with me," Sìxiàng said.

"Back here?" Chen Xing pointed to the ground at their feet.

"No, this is the Dark Realm corresponding to the Shadow Giant City. The Dark Realm is vast, and the part we'll enter is the Dark Realm that corresponds to the area we're targeting," Sìxiàng explained.

"By the way, Master," Sìxiàng continued, "it also said that there is no need to pursue those who attacked you just now. It has dealt with them already, considering it your second gift."

"Second gift? When did it give me the first one?" Chen Xing pondered; had he met this entity before?

"The first one was during my evolution; it protected you from all the attacks."

Had it not intervened, it would have been hard to say whether Sìxiàng could have completed his evolution with those Beast Tamers' skills.
