Chapter 125 The eternal war : a winner
The Rank 3 all frowned as they looked at the giant portal. Kira's father was astonished as those two eyes were seen again.
Time started flowing again as Void's clone stopped his attack.
"Congratulations on your breakthrough," Void chuckled, his voice ringing out. Mark looked at those two huge eyes and smiled.
"Thanks to you, Void. I appreciate it," Mark bowed lightly.
"No worries. Nice to see you again, Kira and Marcule," Void called out as Kira and Marcule snapped from their daze.
"Oh, the pleasure is ours," Kira replied.
"Haha… hope we didn't disturb you," Marcule said with a nervous chuckle.
"Nah... Oh... we have gods here," Void said as he looked at Kira's father and the other gods' ancestors.
"Well, if not for me being in a battle, I would have come personally to greet you," Void said with a sigh.
"We understand," Mark said as Kira and Marcule nodded.
"Let's go then," Void said as his clone nodded and entered the portal with his sword.
The portal closed as the tension disappeared.
"Sorry for causing you all trouble," Kira's father apologized.
"It's fine. At least we got to meet the so-called demon race that caused all races to be afraid," a god ancestor said with a smile.
"Well, they're nothing much... The issue is their population," another god ancestor said.
"Yeah, it is... but that's for future discussion. We will leave now," a god ancestor said as they all disappeared, except for Kira's father.
"You three should be careful. You heard what we said about the demon race," Kira's father said as he left.
"Congratulations," Kira said to Mark as he appeared.
"Ah, thank you," Mark said with a grin.
"Hehe... we are growing stronger," Marcule said with a smile.
"Yeah, well, I'm more determined now. I'm going to break through to Quasi-Rank 3," Kira said with a smile.
"No problem, lady," Marcule chuckled.
"Be careful, though. Don't have distracting thoughts," Mark warned sternly.
"Okay, will do," Kira said as the first layer of space collapsed. Slowly, the second layer appeared before collapsing, and finally, the third layer of space.
With a smile, Kira entered it.

Kai was treated with exquisite courtesy as he was lavishly given the life of a young master.
"Ha, Kai, isn't it time to start cultivating?" a young handsome male asked from a pool as he heard a voice.

Turning around, Kai saw Muchen entering the room.
Adjusting himself in the pool, Kai spoke up, "About to. This life is quite lovely," Kai said with a grin.
"Yes, it is," Muchen replied with a smile.
"So the others have settled down quite nicely, Kai. We need to work harder. A lot of things are unclear to us," Muchen added.
"I see," Kai said as he stood up. Carrying a white towel, Kai wrapped it around his muscular body.
"Well, let's start then," Kai said as Muchen grinned.
*********
Outside at the Immortal Chen Pavilion, two handsome young men could be seen walking around.
"The Chen clan has everything anyone needs. We have cultivation rooms that aid cultivation and make it faster. The immortal qi in them is multiple times stronger than those in the Immortal Realm. We also have the Trial Field," Muchen pointed to a giant tower that reached the sky.
"It has multiple levels, each containing great fighters, warlords, and famous people from history. There's a saying: passing through this tower means the person will surely break through to the Immortal Emperor Realm," Muchen paused with a smile.
"So, has someone broken through it?" Kai asked.
"Well, no one... at least on the surface. But some have passed it. They are the ancestors of our clan," Muchen said with a grin.
"That's quite interesting," Kai said.
"Next, of course, is the Sutra Pavilion. It contains skills and cultivation methods. But you already have cultivation methods; you just lack skills," Muchen said as Kai nodded.
"We have different houses, and we also have a general hall below. There, you can collect tasks issued by the clan itself," Muchen said, seeing Kai's interest piqued by this information.
"What's your suggestion first? Should I go and pick some skills to learn first, or what?" Kai asked with a chuckle.
"Well, yeah. I will secure a cultivation room for you," Muchen said as Kai nodded.
Soon, Kai entered the Sutra Pavilion, where there was a variety of skill books and disciples going in and out of the pavilion.
Here, there was an old man whom Kai assumed to be the keeper of the pavilion.
"Good day, Elder," Kai said to the man and bowed.
Raising an eyebrow, the man nodded before speaking.
"Alright, descendant. State why you are here and what you want exactly," the elder asked calmly.
"I'm here for immortal cultivation skills, and I'm looking for those at the Immortal Realm," Kai said as the elder pondered for a while.
"Go to the second floor. There, you will see some skills that can be practiced up to the Immortal King Realm," the elder said.
"Thank you, Elder," Kai bowed as he walked away.
"His talent is really strong," the elder thought with a smile.
Kai got to the second floor and saw rows and rows of shelves with books on them.
Kai took the nearest one and checked it. It was astonishing to him as he seemed to have understood it.
Closing it and dropping it back, Kai felt something.
"Did I forget something?" Kai asked himself, puzzled.
"Wait, that book," Kai thought, looking at the book. He remembered reading everything inside, but then he suddenly forgot what he read as he dropped the book.
"What type of strength is this?" Kai thought in disbelief.
With shock, Kai gulped. He realized that these immortal clans were quite different from what he thought. No wonder no one was watching him as he came upstairs.
Sighing, Kai looked at the immortal skills and chose some based on his instincts.
After an hour of rampaging through things, Kai picked some cultivation skill books and came to the first floor.
Getting to the elder, Kai showed him what he picked.
"I see... great choice. You can leave with them," the elder said as Kai nodded and left.
In the Immortal Chen Clan, you can pick any cultivation skill book you want. One of the things the Chen Clan doesn't lack is cultivation resources and cultivation methods/skills.
"Sigh... time to start studying again," Kai thought with a wary smile as he left the pavilion.
"Have you chosen the ones you want?" Muchen asked.
"Yeah," Kai replied.
"Good then... let's go," Muchen said with a smile as he moved toward a particular direction.
***************
At the fourth layer of space...
Void and the demons stood before a giant portal as the Rank 2 demons kept rushing in.
On the divine plane at the other end, the angels were being hit hard, and the disparity in power was evident.
Both sides had high-end soldiers, but one side was clearly superior. The outcome was already predictable, but that was for a normal battle.
Here, however, there were Rank 3 beings, and both sides had evenly matched powerhouses.
It was the Rank 3s that would determine the outcome of this battle.
"Interesting... This Mark can be a good slave," Void thought, impressed by his potential.
Even against Void's clone, Mark had put up a good fight.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
His bloodline was high enough to match a primordial demon's bloodline, and in battle, he had won—though it was because he broke through to 31% of his chaos half-law.
"But I did learn one or two things from this battle... A better way to utilize my law," Void said with a grin.
*********
At the front of the battle,
Sword Demon smiled brightly.
"We are winning," Sword Demon said with a smile.
"Yeah, we are," Linkir replied with a slight smile.
"Population really is something," Sword Demon analyzed the war. Two, three, or even four demons could attack a single angel on the other side.
Not only that, but more demons were pouring in.
"At this rate... The angels will lose this lower-rank battle," Sword Demon said.
"Well, they don't plan to lose it yet," Linkir said as the low-level Rank 2 angels joined the battle.
At Rank 2,
Low-level Rank 2 beings could cover tens of thousands of light years. Not only that, they could cause just as much damage. The difference became even clearer as everyone witnessed the strength they possessed.
"It seems they want to accelerate this," Sword Demon suddenly frowned. It had been months since they arrived, and now middle-level Rank 2 angels appeared, as well as high-level Rank 2 angels.
This battle had finally escalated into an interstellar war.
Middle-level Rank 2 beings had the terrifying ability to destroy entire galaxies, traveling hundreds of thousands of light years per second.
At middle-level Rank 2, a single attack could shatter a galaxy.
High-level Rank 2 beings were even more monstrous, capable of obliterating galaxies over a million light years in size. Their speed was equally fearsome, moving at close to a million light years per second.
With these stats, the battle had escalated far beyond the scale of a solar system. It had reached a level that affected galaxies. Naturally, with such devastating power,
The first layer of space wasn't enough, so they moved to the second layer of space.
**********
BOOM... CRACK...
A large crack appeared without closing as multiple middle-level and high-level Rank 2 beings fought.
A clash between white and black, justice and darkness, creation and destruction.
Different laws were unleashed and wielded as death tolls reached the trillions. Yet this battle between angels and demons raged on.
And it would continue for a very long time.
This wasn't just called an eternal war for nothing. The hatred had existed long before they were born, ingrained in their bones and their very souls.
Nothing could stop this war... all except for one thing:
A WINNER.
