Chapter 1398  Still Unsatisfied?

Early in the morning, when Raelle got up for her morning run, she found that the whole place was quite lively. Mu Chenyan was sitting in the hall listening to work progress from all the people in the castle and was busy assigning tasks.

"Don't you wanna rest before ordering people around?"

Mu Chenyan held up her hand to stop the person who was speaking. She turned to Raelle and smiled at her, "There is no need to rest. I need to rush things. There isn't much time before the wedding ceremony."

"Then do you need help?" offered Raelle which surprised Mu Chenyan who raised her brows at her. Raelle cleared her throat, "I just feel like I should do something. It's my wedding and I didn't do anything. I left all the burden on you which is not fair. After all, you are considered a newlywed too. Uncle Zhao might get mad at me for making his newly wedded wife work so much."

"He doesn't get mad at me," was Mu Chenyan's response. "Although I am glad to know that my Elle now knows to be considerate of me, I still don't need you to do anything. Go for your morning run."

Raelle thought about it before suggesting, "Then how about you also hold a wedding ceremony? I'll help you organize it."

Mu Chenyan chuckled, "I don't want a wedding ceremony at this age."

"But I want it."

"So?"

"So if I can hold a wedding ceremony to make you happy, you can do it too. I really wanna see you in a wedding dress."

"So do I."

Both Raelle and Mu Chenyan looked over at Xia Zhao who came to sit with Mu Chenyan naturally. "I love the idea of Raelle. She is as smart as ever. I agree with her. I also want to see you in a wedding dress."

"Aren't you afraid that your mother will come to ruin the wedding?" asked Mu Chenyan.

"If she isn't afraid of coming, I'm not afraid of facing her either. Besides, when have I ever been an obedient son? If she wants to embarrass me or you, then she has to first see if she is capable of doing so."

"Domineering! I approve!"

Mu Chenyan chuckled at Raelle giving Xia Zhao a thumbs up, making the latter pleased as a peach. "Go already!" Mu Chenyan waved her away and Raelle left them alone. "Don't you look at your age?" Nôv(el)B\\jnn

"There is nothing wrong with my age. Do you have to dislike my age now?" retorted Xia Zhao.

Mu Chenyan shrugged, "Aren't you old though? You should be glad that you have this good face to please me. But I'm still at a loss. If I hadn't fallen into your trap, I could have raised so many handsome wolfdogs."

Xia Zhao gave her a resentful gaze, "You try raising the wolfdogs and see how I deal with you."

"What are you gonna do?" challenged Mu Chenyan. "What can you even do to me?" Xia Zhao whispered something in her ear and then the servants of the estate managed to see their Mistress Yan blushing like a tomato for the first time ever. They all gave an admiring look to Xia Zhao but lowered their head immediately so, as to not be found out by Mistress Yan and silenced for seeing or hearing all this. Mu Chenyan pushed him away saying, "Behave yourself. Old gangster! Go away and let me work."

Xia Zhao chuckled and decided not to disturb her any longer. He went to find Grandfather Xiang to keep him company. The old man wouldn't be able to sleep for so long like the young people. But strangely enough, it seemed Grandfather Xiang was sleeping peacefully while all the young people were awake and had started with their own activities.

Raelle also ran into her brother and sister while running as they two were slowly jogging together right now and seemed to be discussing something. Raelle didn't eavesdrop on their conversation and ran past them but heard them calling from behind.

"Little sister, can't you be a little polite? How can you ignore such big human beings?"

Raelle stopped to look at them and asked, "How should I be polite now?"

"Say, good morning!"

"Good morning!" said Raelle and startled Xiang Wai who didn't expect that Raelle would so easily accept it. What happened? Was she dreaming? Did she not wake up yet? Xiang Wai's thoughts were confusing but all those thoughts were practically written on her face right now making Raelle feel a little amused by the sight.

Xiang Weimin wasn't like Xiang Wai as he smiled at Raelle and asked, "I heard you only slept since you came here. What happened?"

Raelle felt a little inexplicable about this as she had no way to explain it either so she generously shrugged, "I have no idea. Maybe I missed my bed so much that I couldn't get up from it. I don't think I've ever slept for this long before. It's quite surprising to me too."

"Are you feeling alright? There isn't a headache or something from sleeping so much?" Xiang Weimin showed his concern.

"I feel fine," replied Raelle.

Xiang Weimin breathed a sigh of relief, "That's good. Then continue. We'll join you for breakfast in a while."

Raelle nodded and turned back to continue running.

Xiang Wai looked at her brother, "Why does she feel a little different?"

"She is willing to accept you as a sister, what are you still unsatisfied with?"

"She did?" gaped Xiang Wai in disbelief. "When did that happen? Why don't I feel it?"

"Silly!" Xiang Weimin tapped her forehead. "If she didn't accept you, she'd have been polite enough to greet you just now but she didn't bother as it's not necessary to be polite with family. Don't find faults with her all the time. Follow her pace."

"What if I can't keep up with her pace? She is difficult to comprehend especially when she just speak out her thoughts."

"If you ask, she'll speak her thoughts too. Just don't annoy her all the time."
