Chapter 128: First Young Master let us fight I

Chapter 128: First Young Master let us fight I

In three separate books, Wang Ling had read about the War that had occurred around 50,000 years after the era had opened.

Records state that the war was against beings they call themselves as demons. These demons came from a realm that is from a plane of existence no one knew of, the Abyss.

The demons tore through the portals of the Abyss and opened up a path for themselves to enter. The path that had opened was large, but the people of the Celestial Spirit Realm fought back and drove them away.

This was the bits of information Wang Ling had gathered inside the library. Currently, he was at the second floor of the library, slowly devouring knowledge he could get from the books present inside.

It had been seven days upon his return and Wang Ling had only gone back to his own courtyard three times as he would constantly lock himself inside the library in order to learn more.

Currently, he had learned many things. His comprehension in the path of Alchemy and Blacksmithing had improved significantly. Wang Ling breathed out as he exhaled.

The information regarding this realm was something he had been yearning for. The new era was becoming clearer as he read through the books.

He now had a vague idea of what caused the realm to be fragmented into four separate parts. A war broke out against people of different planes of existence. From the records, it was a devastating battle and even today, skirmishes against the demons still rage on.

Was the demons warmongers? That was Wang Ling's question. But he only shook his head and went up to the third floor in order to read more books and broaden his knowledge about worldly affairs.

Going up, Wang Ling looked to the side but shook his head as he didn't do anything. Upon reaching the third and final floor of the library, Wang Ling did what he needed to do and began reading books he ought to read.

After another day of reading and studying, Wang Ling felt fulfilled as he got up and exited the library. He looked behind him one last time and bowed respectfully and said, "Thank you." before leaving that place.

After resting for a night, Wang Ling got up at midnight on the 16th day of the second month. Wang Ling was now sitting in front of his courtyard, meditating with a sword in his right hand and a short one on the left.

The short in his possession was now an artifact, a grade-2 artifact. This short sword was named [Divine Knife]. It was created using Divine Ores as its core. This was bought especially for Wang Ling who now has the qi of Heaven.

Butler Sun also wanted to get him another sword that has the attribute of hell. But Wang Ling refused, saying the old grade-2 artifact he had in hand was enough.

He did not reject the offer to act with humility. The sword in his right hand was, in fact, enough as it was strong and sharp enough for his use. Wang Ling had already bath the sword with his sword qi when he went and had that sudden enlightenment.

Wang Ling was only considering how he should change the properties of the sword to suit his use. The sword in his hands was already attuned to his path. The only thing to do now would be to use it as a material to create a natal weapon he had been meaning to create.

Although Wang Ling could just ask for an even better sword, he knew that having a natal weapon that can be cultivated would be something of a priceless treasure. A natal weapon was not only a weapon but an extension of one's soul and body.

Wang Ling knew of this and had already studied every book regarding ores and minerals in order to create a weapon that will suit him just fine. Right now, Wang Ling had already found a weapon that meets his agenda, [Everchanging Holy Stone] and the [Devil's Curse].

Both of these ores was hard to find. He had wanted to ask Butler Sun to procure it for him but to his dismay, even after sending out men to different places. No information about any of the two had pop up.

Wang Ling was not going to go and just give up that easily. After reading through the books, he found that the Devil's Curse can be found at [Dark Domain] and the Everchanging Holy Stone was in Thunder Domain.

The Thunder Domain was something that Wang Ling could easily scour and go to as that was the base of operation of the Thundergod Academy. It was such a good thing he applied there. Well there might be some Everlasting Holy Stone in the Heaven's Will Academy.

But Wang Ling do not want to get indebted to them just yet so he will pass on idea of getting one from them. Besides, it's better to spend more time inside the Thundergod Academy, because he wanted to drain them out of resources for accepting him in.

Other than that, there was another problem he was facing. The Devil's Curse was situated in the Dark Domain where the Xie Family was located.

Thankfully, there was no Devil's Curse being sold there for the time being so he was safe from the trouble of waging war against a clan.

Other than that, Wang Ling had no more problems to speak of. Wang Ling got up after his meditation and picked up the sword that was on the ground and began his training.

Seamlessly connecting patterns after patterns of attack. Wang Ling was beginning to get in the mood as the wind got caught up in his actions. Slowly, he was building up momentum and he was beginning to create gusts of winds that sharpens his movements and creates cyclones as time went on.

The sound of wind being torn apart could make anybody's ears hurt. But the rhythm in Wang Ling's sword was melodious and pleasant. His gentle but overbearing movements was like a river that could surge at any moment.

It was harmony.

Wang Ling's courtyard was in a rather secluded place where not much people wanders off to. Only two or three maids go there to call him to eat or remind of important matters.

The silence was Wang Ling's favorite thing. It brings him comfort and time to meditate and reflect upon his mistakes and actions. That was why he prefers reading books.

While Wang Ling was moving around like the wind. Someone had unknowingly wandered where his courtyard was situated. Sitting on top of a tree was someone with a wide grin on his face.

It was a middle-aged man wearing a ragtag of clothes. The middle-aged man should be around 40 years of age. The stubs on his face, the roughness of his expression, and that bulky and tight body of his screamed of him being a warrior of some kind.

The middle-aged man looked at Wang Ling's training time with eyes twinkling. He had only entered the area where Wang Ling was staying at and he was already sucked in on watching his sword dance with the world.

It was fluid, it was seamless, and it was beautiful. It was something that even he had never seen before.

"Qigang was right, he is even above monstrous geniuses in terms of talent. What a freak this First Young Master of ours is." The middle-aged man commented as he watched Wang Ling's movements more and more.

However, the more he watched and the more wildly his heartbeat became, the more Wang Ling began to get irritated by his presence. But Wang Ling didn't want to care about others' presence and just continued on with his training.

It took Wang Ling a full three hours before he stopped. Wang Ling stopped and breathed out musty breath out of his body.

He observed his body and it was clearly improving to the point it was about to reach perfection. With his body drenched in sweat, Wang Ling got stored his weapons away and went inside to change.

He got out of his room just before noon with a new set of fresh clothes. Bai Xue was not with him as she was cozily staying with Wang Yue. It seems like she had taken a liking to the lass.

Wang Ling got out of his room and as he was just about to leave, he saw a middle-aged man standing in front of him with a wide grin and on his face.

"Come and fight me First Young Master."

Wang Ling sighed as he answered, "Let us do this later, I'm rather tired."

[Even here? I am still tasked with dealing with this kind of person?]
